My mum died. She died very early in the morning on Saturday the 6th of September. it was her birthday and her wedding anniversary, she was 84. I wasn't overcome with grief. Not because I didn't love her, I did. I don't know why not. it just didn't seem to affect me in that way or not yet. But there ...

Hi Kitty2

I'm sorry to hear about you accident and I'm amazed that the ambulance took you home rather than to hospital.
I think you're right about getting an assessment on the NHS. If a head injury is not a good enough reason then I don't know what is.

I hope the tests in September go well.

2 Years !?!?

I admire your patience. I guess 4 or 5 hours it a bit time consuming but at least you've got a definite answer. Do you think it's helped, knowing for sure? I must admit that I worry that I'd go through all the hassle only to be told I'm not aspergers, and be back to square one.

Hello, I've been diagnosed as "Probable" Aspergers Syndrome. it's a bit annoying. Am I or aren't I? Apparently a DISCO assessment is 'time consuming and costly' and it would be difficult to justify NHS funding in my case. Another annoying thing is that I get the impression that if I was a child or t...
