| Very well said Saffy! It was a hard decision to put our almost 3 year old on this drug however it has made such a tremendous difference in everyone's day to day living at home and outside of the home she can now tolerate the grocery store for 45 minutes where as before it would become to much she wo... |

| Now, how do I get that argumentative thing licked? Hmm...not sure on that one. Maybe some reverse psychology? If he wants the light off, turn it off and see how he really likes it. If he says black is white, agree...he knows it's not. As for outright defiance and belligerance, I never stood for it.... |

| Will she meltdown if you start talking about it now I have already started bringing up Christmas to our daughter almost 3 I have to prep her for months before a new event like that takes place. We too avoid malls stores etc.. its just to much for her. I have to say I am jealous you can get your groc... |

| Ok, now you anti-Risperdal folks do realize that the dosage given to children with autism is WAY FREAKING LOWER that the dosage given to psychotics, Bipolar, etc don't you? 1mg, the lowest dpse possible is the common dose for Autism- sometimes 1 1/2 or 2 mg/day- that's max according to the MIND Ins... |

| This is part of my daughters therapy!! She loves it now and although we can only do it for 5 minutes max before a meltdown its better than before where the can wasn't even allowed to be near her!! |

| I'm with Ster on this. I used to be VERY anti-drugs for kids, especially for treating autism. There's a difference. There's treating to try to "cure" autism and then there's treating to help with common co-morbid conditions like anxiety and depression. I am not treating my daughter's autism, but co... |

| Thanks Guys! We have noise cancelling but even with those she still hates it HAHA!
