They won't help me get a job. All they do is provide doctor's services and stuff like that, which I don't need right now. And I live in Nevada now. I left California because my savings will go a little farther here. I just sent off for a US Postal Service kit and I'm planning to register and take th...

Update: Nevermind the maid services. I just called and they won't consider anyone without a car. f**k it all; nobody gives a s**t about anyone with a health problem and I'm going to fall through the cracks because of it. All I f*****g want is a NORMAL life and I WANT to work, but at a job that I can...

Well theres not much else I can do. There's a couple temp agencies left that I haven't been to, and the postal service is hiring. Maybe they have something I can do. Other than that, I'm going to have to meet with employers of s**t jobs like cashier work and practically beg on my knees for them to h...

I'm against Walmart and other large corporations too, but some people have no choice. I'm about to be homeless if I don't find work in the next few weeks, and I might have to work at Walmart.

God, I really f*****g HATE my life

I've tried answering services, but they wanted someone with experience too. If all else fails, I'm considering working for a maid service or cleaning hotel rooms. I could at least work by mysekf so that if I felt like fainting, I'd be able to sit down for a second without getting in trouble for it. ...

I just read mikebw's answer and it made me think of something. If you can get a job without letting them know about your problem, under the Americans With Disabilities Act (I looked at your past posts and saw you were living in CA, so I assume you're still in the US now) they would have to make rea...

Update: I can't get food stamps. I have too much money in my bank account to qualify in the county I live in, even though almost all of it was given as a grant for college. I guess I'll never get to go back to school, though...

How did you get the call center job? Was it online or in person? I'm going to have to try for food stamps. I'll be able to use whatever help I can. I'll look into disability. The only problem is I'm not sure it'll be enough to survive off of, and sometimes they won't let you get disability and look ...

I need advice. I've tried everything but nothing's really working and it's getting to a point where if I don't find a job in the next month, I'll be homeless. I have a cranial nerve/Vagus nerve disorder and faint when I'm on my feet. It happens constantly, and I only get around 30 seconds of warning...

Here's a new update. I looked at the California schools and they aren't accepting for the Spring, so I'm going to apply for Fall anyway. Until then, I'm checking out extended stay hotels and roommate oppurtunities in the Las Vegas area. I think Nevada will be my best option right now, and it's one o...

Thanks for the concern and advice. I talked to them today and decided to leave, even though I'm not sure about where to go. They're planning a trip out of state next month and said I have until then to get out. Right now, college is most important to me, and so I looked at colleges that allow animal...

Okay, this is a major situation and I can't explain everything all at once, but I'll try and get most of it here. Things seem hopeless and getting worse by the minute, but maybe I'm not looking at it from all perspectives. Maybe someone has advice for me, and it can't hurt to ask. I was living with ...

I guess I'm in the minority, but I love makeup! One of my favorite things in the morning is taking the time to put it on, and I also love playing around with new looks. I like how it's the fastest and easiest way to feel like a new person.

I've been playing for a few years, and also had trouble figuring out the basics at first. I used to have this book and it was really helpful. It has instructions on playing, practice exercises, and information on restringing and tuning it. Lots of pictures and diagrams. If you're interested, you mig...

It's very annoying, especially the depression thing. My guess would be that they're getting paid by the pharmaceutical companies to prescribe pills, especially antidepressants. I wish everyone was able to speak up and take charge of their own health and be taken seriously by their doctors.
