Watched it, liked it. Some really personal stuff showing parents in not such a great light. Best quote ever: "Saturday... (BBC guy must have shown some lack of understanding/confusion/expecting him to say something else)... you know, comes after Friday" lmao:-) (could have been sun, comes after sat,... |

However, if that conversation trails off into something boring, then that's when I'll usually tune out. This, for me, usually makes for an unsatisfying conversation, and usually that's why I'm so bad at group talk. Conversation switches topics really quickly, so I find it hard to really want to kee... |

Yeah silence is a great tool, but in a social situation you're valued for your input to the debate/conversation, so unless your few words are golden nuggets that have people staring to the ceiling in profound thought, or on the floor with 'split slides', then your worth is 'devalued' in this group, ... |

oops, I've missed another meet up.....but then I wasn't sure if there was an open invite. Maybe it's implicit in the fact all the meet up details were put in the forum, but didn't see an open invite. I would have felt like a goon if I'd turned up at a private/exclusive meeting, but now I feel like e... |

Does no one else find this thread a little depressing?-but it is good to know we're not alone. For those who havn't the experience, maybe it's like selling or like finding a job, where people often say it's a 'numbers game'. In other words, you've got to keep approaching, and trying, and then the od... |

Hey nightbender; if you want to know if it's you, or the people you're talking to, I'd suggest posting the IM conversation here, omitting names/tel no/address, and people will be able to make a more specific comment, rather than generalising about how easy people are to take offence etc. ? or send m... |

Hi Tim, here's another welcome from a fellow UKer! I don't know if these responses are going to give you an accurate answer to your original question, as even active members might not notice your posting....but it seems like there are at least some UK people. I def get the same impression about WP b... |

No I agree it's not too much to ask, but there's a niggling thought that says you don't always get what you ask for, or go looking for, and that finding a young lady who ticks these few boxes is too much to expect.
mmmmmm happy sunday posting ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) |

I know it's been asked before, but other than 'aspie affection', are there any dedicated online dating AS sites please? It seems like there are so few girls in my region + of similar age registered and active on the site. Posting details on okcupid or the like means either you have to somehow weave ... |
