Redears - I forgot to ask an important question. Is this a recent phenomenon or has it been like this your whole life? If it is recent, it could indicate something other than CAPD (although late onset CAPD is possible too, though it is usually the result of some sort of damage/accident). I've notic... |

This is very interesting, thank you for your thoughts everyone! I am female, and I am EXTREMELY right handed, we used to joke my left hand is just there so I don't fall over  I tried covering each eye and reading the page of wire reports in front of me and it was very interesting, my right eye ... |

When I hold it to my left, its loud and clear, but I cannot make any sense of what is being said to the point of being afraid  I'm a dork, I know. Last night my mom and I w... |

My first grade teacher pointed to a map of Minnesota and the "two dots" where Minneapolis/St. Paul and said that "most people live in those two dots" so until I was 13 years old and got online, I really thought that almost everyone in the world lived in Minneapolis and St. Paul. My dad told me as a ... |

Always! Right now the song is Spotlight, but it varies all the time, I can't get enough of it.
When I was a kid I would watch the movie Shipwrecked like 4 times a day and act it out. |

I love all my pets, but I am definitely a horse/cat person more than a dog person. Don't get me wrong, my dog is wonderful, but I love the serinity and quirkiness of cats and horses. They are peaceful animals. |

I am a very good liar, I did it for years, making up stories was a hobby for me and I was so good at it, that I would do it without ever thinking. This summer I hurt someone I cared about very much and decided to stop right then and there, I have not lied since. I don't know if its an Aspie thing or... |

Absolutely! I was diagnosed with AS at 25. When from the time I was 11 until I was 18 we lived in a house that had some sound coming from behind my headboard on my bed. It sound like someone dribbling a basketball very fast. Nobody else ever heard this but I heard it every single night for 7 years. ... |

I constantly have music in my head and whatever it corresponds with for me. Soundtrack music is easy, but soemtimes I get a visual about a song and that sticks with me forever. It's fun, but yes, very distracting. |

I hate family get togethers too. My family is loud, drunk and obnoxious. My mom isn't like them (it's her side of the family) normally, but when she's around them her voice gets twice as loud and twice as high pitched, it is scary. I end up being ignored, which is cool, I have no idea how to interac... |
