Has anyone tried this? http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=24760834 Apparently its supposed to be credible http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614,00.html I never do anything like this, but in an attempt to prove them wrong, I figure I've got nothing to lose!

My flatmate, and supposedly good friend moved in in September, we met each other online, and have known each other for around two years. She moved here for a year abroad (she's from Spain) & got accepted to the university here. We'd met twice before, which went well, and the first week she was here ...

I hope it gets better for you.
Let's hope it's educational heh.

I hope you manage to explain to your parents that you're satisfied as you are.

I know how you feel, even this week I was told by my doctor that I should get out and make more friends

I just "tone things down",
instead of rocking or shaking
I will shake my legs or hands more gently,
or clench my fists, and tap my fingers

Thanks for posting that, and the link, I found it really interesting, and quite sad... The girl I live with I met on the internet, and I still struggle with the 'reality' of her being here, being 'real'. I loved these bits... The Internet is destroying the world. Human communication will be rendered...

- See the Pacific Ocean
- Swim in the Pacific Ocean
- Have children
- Improve my Spanish, Russian and French
- Surf
- Look at the stars through a telescope
- Sell a piece of my art work
- Climb Mt. Washington

That's all I can think of right now...

In the past I definitely would have expected the cat to meow,
but now the cats that my mum & sister have are very quiet, even though they are outdoor cats, so I wouldn't really expect anything so much.

I think it depends from cat to cat, and what you're used to.

I was just wondering how many of you were diagnosed as an adult, and how you went about it? Asperger's has been suggested to me by past therapists and aquaintances, but never followed through. This week I plan to go to the welfare centre at my university to ask for advice, and speak to the psychiatr...

I notice a lot of people tell by visual markers and such. Doesn't anyone else get that feeling of total dominance over the dominant side of their bodies??? I mean, I am VERY right handed and even just sitting here I can feel which side of my body is utterly dominant and I can tell incredibly easily...

I wonder if it was a case of it being just practical, kinda like a baby was inevitable if you did.

Thanks both for your replies... I think waiting for as long as possible to see if its just temporary nervousness is a good idea. I know in many ways going away could be good for me, but I also know that I can go abroad, I have travelled before and enjoyed it, but I felt ready to do it then. I'm not ...

There are so many things I think of that I can't imagine how people dealt with...
but then, I suppose it was normal to them,
they didn't know it was possible to smell any different or to have more comfortable clothes.

Even things have changed so recently that I can't imagine doing without.
