The song Then she did... by Jane's addiction became my obsession in the last few months. I would listen to it three to four times in a row daily. I didn't really understand why I was so drawn to it. The music was interesting but I've never been too into alternative rock. Then it hit me. It describes...

I swear that when I go places regularly, especially restaurants, the employees who recognize me develop a strong dislike for me. It's true for all strangers or people I hardly know. People who I converse with generally give me a neutral vibe. In acquaintances who I have never been formally introduce...

In the past I have had problems with sending e-mails to the most important people in my life while I was manic. I would send bizarre, pointless, worrisome and wasteful emails to professors, mentors and people I hardly know but are leaders in my field of interest. As much as it's a problem for them, ...

Schedule yourself some psychology appointments to get a professional's opinion. It's sounds to me like your step-son hasn't made the connection that you are a parent. His behavior may be disturbing but understand that fantasy is what drives sexual desires and if this kid thinks you are an outside so...

That's true. The embarrassment from my actions is something that I still have trouble getting over. Mania is primitive and hard to control but I honestly believe that it will be an integral part of the future brain when it's evolved to be easier to control and harness for productive purposes. The nu...

Most of the problems with having mania come from other people not having it. When I first became manic people were trying to convince me that I was sick and needed help. I'm dedicated to following treatment but I still think that it is not an illness; that the medications are wrong; and that humans ...

I agree with parkled. In middle school I was bullied constantly to the point where I snapped and violently assaulted one of the bullies. Take the high route. Ignore them and give them no incentive to continue harassing you. Be the better person.
