That just means I have seen a lot of threads go sour when a troll can get the energy they need to kill the thread by being given the time of day. the rule of thumb here is to never feed the troll. They will slink off and try to kill the buzz on anot...

Is anyone here also fascinated with Flickering lights and spining objects? I love staring at flickering lights - like christmas tree lamps or this funny, shining orange light at the top of construction vehicles... Also movement. I enjoy when objects spin... I was recently in the science museum in Z...

I'm curious as to how common this is? Do most Aspies learn well enough to get along comfortably and pass as NT, or is my scenario uncommon? Asperger's Syndrome has only been "recognized" since 1994...how do you think many adults got along before that time? They did many things just as you did. Agre...

As an adult: the mind and its place in nature, but I still got the atonal music playing in the background

I believe it was Hawking who said that the only people who talk about their IQ scores are people who have accomplished nothing. If you have accomplished anything, you would talk about that instead. Am I saying that the people on this thread have accomplished nothing? No. But I am wondering what the ...

I personally think that if we heteros are dumb enough to enslave ourselves with one person for the rest of our lives, homos should have the right to make the same dumb choice. I believe an equally consenting relationship between adults is just that. I've known gay and lesbian couples and they truly...

Make sure to see someone who specializes in autism spectrum "disorders." Otherwise, you could be setting yourself up for misdiagnosis. It's amazing how uninformed "professionals" can be.

You mentioned bisexuality. Were you implying that men can always fall back on other men for sex if needed? I'm male, and I find that men don't like me.

It's the little monster We have in My brain - hidden in the depths of My ignorance. It is alive inside of Me - awaken by the wrong intentions of the evil that surrounds Us. It's only the self-sabotage and self-hate and painfull interactions with the outside. Complex processing of the visual informa...

I recall being very frightened by A Clockwork Orange and Fellini Satyricon when I first them. But I think that was partly because I was watching them in a theatre and it was the first time seeing them. Now I've seen them again and again and again, and don't find them frightening at all. Just beautif...
