My advising professor has changed my way of thinking (not only from a critical aspect, but from an opinion standpoint.) I can't help but have to push my mouth shut at the end of every lecture - my jaw drops involuntarily at her brilliance. She was the one who was willing to sit with me for 2.5 hours...

My usual MO is to act like any decent human being and ignore the pigf***ers. If a guy hoots and hollers at me, I tell him, "You're just a blind slave to white, Western patriarchal constructs of conquer and control, aren't you, you little b*tch?" It's a great canned line, and it usually throws them f...

My usual training routine (especially in retail) has been having them watch me do things whilst explaining what I'm doing, and I do it a little slower than usual... I have them read manuals and safety booklets, and when there's something easy to do that they have been shown how to do, I ask them to ...

I think you have a right to not disclose anything. Job interviews are to see if you are an appropriate candidate for the job, and if they hire you, you should be free to disclose anything you'd like. However, since you are undiagnosed (like myself) you should probably not say anything unless there a...

I've always had trouble with jobs... I work hard, I learn quickly, and I'm like any of my coworkers apart from the fact that the managers don't seem to like my difference. I'm undiagnosed, and I basically act as NT as possible (some people think I'm a little aloof or always PMSing) and I've even won...

I was one of the queen band geeks when I was in high school, and I even went into Music Education for a year in university. However, I made my band geekliness translate into a different area of research now... but I still play in wind ensembles when I can.

I'm a double bassist, French horn player and classical/jazz vocalist... I'm also working on an honours thesis concerning gender performance and masculinities in Wagner's Ring Cycle operas... this should prove interesting (to me, anyhow.)
