My first long term relationship girlfriend had to tell me, "So, are you going to kiss me or what?" Otherwise, I'd probably still be holding her hand (an exaggeration--we broke up years ago). Go for it, and if you have to, use the earlier-mentioned 2x4 (or at least tell him it's ok if he kissed you)....

I was bullied in graduate school! By the chair of the department (who had been convinced by my 'peers' that I was too weird or something)! By that time, as a strapping 32 year old youth, I was able to muster the appropriate response: "Either charge me with something real or I will seek legal counsel...

I sleep in the nude because I find sleepwear constricting. I discovered this when I was 12.

I've been nude on beaches, and I've also been to a spa/sauna in Amsterdam that was "clothing optional" and played a chess game in the buff!

Happens to me all the time, particularly 'out-of-context.' The worst example was confusing two co-workers because of similar hairstyles/eyeglasses, and calling one of them by the other's name. Twice. Addendum. In college, I finally stood up to my bully in my house. In fact, I beat him up (without throwing a punch). Embarrassed the guy to everyone in the house. He later appeared at my door in tears, but still insisted I was weird. In another instance, the guy stood on my foot--I remembered a judo...

I remember learning how to lie, but it takes a lot of effort to keep a straight face and to be convincing. I'm never comfortable with it.
