Chalk me up as another one who gets told their work has no soul. It's been a common thing people have commented on about my pictures. Mechanical, cold, lacking heart etc. I dislike many pictures I see because of a lack of technical accuracy, and many people dislike my pictures because of a lack of h...

As the title says, I'm currently deeply embarrassed by my writing. It's at the point now where I can't actually make myself sit down and do more work on my story. All I find myself thinking about is what would people say or think if they read my work. Heaven forbid if I put something like romance in...

I usually play turn-based strategy games, like the Civilization series or Masters of Orion, but also the more relaxing strategy games like Sim city or simple tower defence games made in flash Realtime strategy has never really been my thing... I do play them on occasion, but I plain suck at them :D...

Without wanting to step on anyone's spiritual toes, I'm almost completely certain there is no scientific basis what so ever for attributing your experiences to possession or fate. Ultimately, I think your experiences are just a fact of normal life. People, relationships and friendships come and go a...

Currently, I'm running through Fallout 2 using a walkthrough to help me. I've used them for other games and have of course found them helpful, but I'm wondering if other RPGers find they spoil the game? I'm not very good at the older RPGs, and I used to find I got stuck a lot. Do you guys think it's...

I'm curious; is a person dead ended in life if they're on the Autistic spectrum? I desperately want to achieve something that will make people respect me, instead of just seeing handicapped wierdo #12345325. I'm not hugely smart and I know I'm not going to win a nobel prize, but it seems like hard w...

My cat is getting quite old now and it is starting to dawn upon me that sooner or later he will die or be put down. I am worried about that and I'm not sure what it will feel like. I've had him since I was a child and he has been my first pet. Has any one lost a pet? What does it feel like and how q...

Jordan and Goodkind were\are both terrible writers in my opinion, but Goodkind one ups Jordan by being a complete frakking loon. I was so bored to tears by the end of the first Wheel of Time book that I couldn't even read the last thirty odd pages. I know lots of people love WoT, but it just didn't ...

It's great to see the game is being kept around. I have so many fond memories of Mechwarrior and Battletech. There was a short animated series based on the clan invasion, which at the age of five or something, was how I first got into it. It was actually pretty good. I think my favourite Mechwarrior...

I've been playing since the original was at beta 0.710 or something. It's cool seeing how far the games have come since then. Multiplayer is great. It's the only noncoop multiplayer I do at the moment. The only problem is that Khergits seem over powered on just about every map not set in a town.

I am playing the original UFO at the moment, and it still holds up today. Such an amazing game, with great atmosphere.

Blade Runner (the final cut). For some reason, I find the ending very uplifting.

I understand curing cancer: it hurts and kills. I can understand wanting to walk instead of being stuck in a wheel chair. But none of that has anything to do with ASD. What are we going to "cure" next? fat belly? hair on legs? and why not cure people who don't own a tv? Norms change all the time an...
