kraftiekortie, yes Scotland is a beautiful place, especially at this time of year when nature is blooming. I'm from the South East, an area called The Borders. Waterfall, you pretty much described what it's like for me too. Interacting with others, seeing them live seemingly fulfilled and happy live...

Thanks for the replies. It might be helpful if you could do that Waterfallls in order to learn how others deal with similar feelings. I'm feeling better today. It's always there thought, in the back of my mind. It can take something really simple or innocent to remind me that I don't fit in and the ...

Where do I start? I had a whole brain full of thoughts and now that I come to write them, nothing. A familiar story. A loose connection between brain and hand, brain and tongue.......... Every day the same, trying to reach the end without feeling too depressed being an achievement, the anxiety of be...

I have the same thing. I can never keep still and have difficulty sleeping.

As for something that may help I have seen some posts where people use weighted blankets, never tried them myself. Have you tried that yet?

I love the escapism of going to see a film. Watching a DVD just isnt the same. Most of the time I'm fine with other people there. It's only when someone close by starts talking or has a cold and sniffs through the entire film that my focus goes and I start to get irritated. But over all I love going...

...... you don't get to have the experience.

Story of my life.

My entire life has been a string of missed opportunities because I just couldn't express what I wanted or how I felt.

So why will the words not come out?

I have an awesome long-term memory. I can remember incidents that happened nearly 20 years ago with amazing clarity and can recount every action, every word that was said and describe the location in detail. However my short term memory is abysmal. People usually have to tell me things several time...

Tapping out rythms with my fingers on any surface I walk past. I'm sure people notice but I'm way past caring now.

Biting the inside of my lip and cheeks resulting in regular mouth ulsers.

I would say I've been living a hermitic life for the past seven or eight years. Not through choice, more by just letting friendships and acquaintances go through my extreme social ineptitude. I feel I've almost reached a tipping point where I can't go back. All I do is work, eat and sleep(when not h...

There was some good advice that may be of help. I've never asked a girl out either. Hopefully that will change soon as livin...

I've never wanted to get married, the whole wedding day debacle puts me off for a start. That's not to say I would'nt like to fall in love with someone I would consider a life partner. I just don't see why I need a legal document to tell the whole world that I love someone. With my luck with women h...

No you don't sound dorky kitty. I often do the same thing so at least I can initiate a conversation. Although when I try to put it into practise everything I have rehersed gets forgotten and I end up getting nervous, stumbling over my words. It happened today when I saw her. My heart started pumping...

Try not to place too much importance on it. Just treat it like you are calling an old friend or relative. You have her number so you have already done the hard part.
