Yes. I hate being told that. On the rare occasions when I've, to put it bluntly, 'unleashed' my inner personality, I get remarks from peers 'Dana, are you feeling okay? I'm starting to worry about you.' I can't imagine the number of times I've felt like saying, God. This IS my real personality. This... |

Nobody's mentioned Forrest Gump (1994). Although not a classic autism movie, it has to be one of my favourite portrayals of autism of all time. Forrest displays so many of the characteristics that I'd be damned if he wasn't at least mild Asperger's. I, too, enjoyed Rain Man (1988) and quote it, on a... |

Scene Kid, Emo, Geek, Nerd, Weirdo, Spaz, Freak.
Lol
I used to dress in black a lot.
To match my mood
I've kind of gone the opposite way now.
Though I still favour black, I mix it with bright colours and stuffs.

Oh my God, yes!
Lol; I thought I was the only one who did that.
As I am still a child (kind of ) I still do that.
Not so much hair twirling (though I do that too) but I used to chew on my hair constantly. |

Maths and PE. I am, to a mild extent, slightly impaired in my ability to calculate numbers in my head; I still have huge gaping holes from nursery and reception where we were learning 1 + 1 = 2, and I still cannot calculate fluently in my head something simple such as 6 + 8. It can take me as much a... |

I find that I, too, look for that in a friend. But in the past, so called 'friends' have taken advantage of that. Once you are my friend, I will do almost anything for you. I am completely attached to you. But if you do not respect me back, love me for who I am, and let me have my space, then you ha... |

I constantly have problems with time. There never seems to be enough of it in a day. When I'm doing my work, it seems to take forever. But then when I finally stop being distracted and settle down the time flies and I haven't finished, stranded in my mountain of coursework again. Then in the morning... |
