doesn't your pocketpc have some kind of basic PIM? or at least a to-do program? I remember seeing pre-included in a windows mobile one. Yes, mine has Outlook mobile or whatever it's called. The task list is pretty primitive, and is separate from the calendar and contacts. At least one U.S. mobile s... |

I tried to follow your post but you lost me with the terms: PPC and T42. Sorry! PPC = pocket PC (windows mobile) -- T42 = my IBM laptop. If you want a freeware personal organizer there are lots out there to chose from. Which do you recommend? I really like aspects of Sbp Diary, but am still new to ... |

Yeah, I think that would be my biggest hangup; especially PDD-NOS the need to kind of live as an NT is there and strikingly. How so? and why? Lol, because I'm me and I have my own ambitions and sources of happiness - that's why :P. OMG, I read your original as "PDD-NOS they need to kind of live as ... |

This is totally how I get when I don't get enough down time, free from people people people and their schticks. |

I'm so sorry. He sounds a bit like my grandfather. Others seemed relieved to have him gone, so I couldn't really ever grieve openly. He had been the only person who'd really 'gotten' me and seemed to think I was worth the time of day. If you feel comfortable sharing more about your grandfather, I'd ... |

You could also blog it .... maybe in a data-collection scheme? There is an exercise I was given for working through someone really P§ing me off. It's a series of columns, in the first one is the list of everything I could think of that got my goat. Then the rest of the columns are about, well, maybe... |

If you don't have issues with executive dysfunction, you'll probably think only "WTF?!" about this post. But in hopes someone gets it, here goes: I can't figure out how to buy the PIM (organiser) software I need for my PPC. Executive dysfunction making it a PITA to get support for, well, EF issues! ... |

My youngest sister is in some ways a duplicate of me. Not diagnosed, but she's SO on the spectrum. And in other ways she has abilities I never did - she could repeat complicated tunes before she could talk. (OK, so we were both really late talkers ...) Not that a random exception invalidates a theor... |

I love the way people call P-ATA hard drives IDE. SATA/SCSI/ATA are all IDE. ... I've now heard someone say that SCSI is IDE. Interesting. Always good to learn something new. A few days ago I learned that there is not just one museum in Paris - there are three, or four! (And no, those were not comp... |

How so? and why?
(And how does PDD/-NOS differ from autism, anyway? I get the ASD-AS difference, or think I do. But NOS=) |

The 4:1 ratio is only those with a formal diagnosis. And that number is something like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Epidemiologists rely largely on practitioners' diagnostic data ... practitioners don't necessarily ask themselves what they might be missing thanks to gender bias they're not aware of ... |

Actually my natural tendency, without pick-up guides, is to be quite persistent, and usually that only happens after a break in communication. This is like movie scenes of a vendor at a middle-eastern bazaar who goes running after a tourist who barely looked at his wares, begging her to buy somethi... |

Hi M,
how is Sakurakaya doing a few weeks out?
For bipeds, there are meds you can keep on-hand. It sounds like you have a good sense of when she is pre-seizure "off." |

what kaliMa said. I think I know what your T is getting at. Separation is a process, and ppl who try to +make+ it happen by severing contact often end up stunted bc they're still very attached in ways they don't suspect. But - how much contact do you have? Self preservation is essential! (p.s. I no ... |
