I plan on starting school again for a degree in Computer Networking. I've attended college before, but I stopped going for a variety of issues (depression, social ineptitude, fear. . .). Now that I am starting over again at a new school I want to know how I would begin to have professional relations...

EA announced that the Sims 3 won't be on store shelves until June of 2009. That's ok by me because I need to save money to build a new computer.

or any other characters. When Star Trek: The Next Generation originally came on I obsessed over that character. Same thing with Odo from Star Trek: DS9. I am drawn to the outsider, loner characters. Has anyone else experienced that? :?

Zyborg, from personal experience I already was doing your first few suggestions, but I never thought about petting a cat before. This thought made boring conversations (my perspective) tolerable.

I don't mind getting to know someone, but I have a hard time being around people who have a problem being alone. I don't have to talk to a person I might not talk to you for awhile, especially if nothing new occurred (I'm working on my "small talk" skills). I like being around people and not talking...
