Speaking of cartoons, anyone remember Jem or Thundercats? (the Bratz dolls are probably a rip-off version of Jem) |

The "tinkle tots" probably still live on that tropical island with lame-o "Tickle Me Elmo" :bounce: Anyway, I definitely remember owning Pound Puppies and Lite Brite and the other stuff from the 80's. I had Strawberry Shortcake paraphernalia as a kid. By the way, I saw a Lite-Brite in its original b... |

Maybe that's like cats seem to like me. I have no problem cuddling or playing with cats (except when their claws get involved--ow!). My roommate's cat, I think, has become very attached to me. He always knows when I arrive home. :cat: I'm actually more comfortable around cats than people--go figure... |

I like to sleep with a lot of blankets too. Even in the summer I'll pile on three or four blankets on the bed...in hot Georgia. My dad is exactly the same way, and he lives in southern Alabama.
I thought it was just a weird little family trait. |

My dad has told me that when I was very little (probably four or five) I would look in the mirror while asking people for things. I would say "(name) wants this" or "(name) wants that". I had to be asked to look directly AT the person and make my request politely. Is that weird? |

Well, let's see, my parents had to force me to learn how to drive because I had no desire to (what 16-year-old doesn't want to drive???) Then even after reading the driver's manual through TWICE, I still made some dumb answers to the written portion of the test. (For example, no, "yellow" does NOT m... |

itw, Rescue Remedy is a homeopathic blend (it's one of Bach Flower Essences products). It comes in several forms, but I carry the little bottle that has a dropper in it. When I get anxious I put a dropperful under my tongue and that's it. I'm on my way. I can feel myself calm down in about five minu... |

I've had trouble feeling "stuck" for the last several years, but I thought it was just fear or laziness or whatever. Every time I try to update my resume or organize my room better or get on a schedule or decide on a new career, I get stuck. Sometimes my thoughts get muddy if I sit for too long, and... |

My mother has told me that I am, on many occasions.
I've also had a coworker tell me that I only care about myself. (I see her as full of pretense and a little too full of herself, but she would just throw a fit if I told her.) |

My style, overall, tends to be classic. When I was younger I wore some weird stuff, though. Stuff that would horrify the hosts of "What Not to Wear". Flower pants, for instance. (I liked the flower design on the pants and the feel of the fabric.) Nowadays I rarely wear anything beyond the basics due... |

In my experience, it's usually a lot easier to get along with guys. There's a refreshing lack of DRAMA compared to relationships with women. I work with other women all day, and it's draining. All my best friends for the last 10+ years have been guys, and now I understand why. The relationships are ... |

Thank God I'm not the only woman on the planet who doesn't wear makeup. In American culture it's unthinkable for a woman not to put something on her face every day--well, call me a square peg. I just can't do it. It feels like I'm trying to be someone that I'm not. Is that ridiculous? If it's a spec... |

I have to have my coffee every morning or I can't function. I'll have a headache by afternoon, too. Every morning without fail I brew a four-cup pot of coffee (I don't usually drink it all, though). Sometimes I need more at work later to pick me up. Caffeine and heart problems? Interesting. I can fe... |

My dad refused to teach me how to drive a stick shift (manual). I think he was afraid I'd have a meltdown behind the wheel and give up. Or that I wouldn't be able to focus properly (which is true--I daydream a LOT when I'm driving). My sister, who is NT, shed some tears when he taught her how to dri... |
