I understand the science behind the addiction to a point.
Ultimately tho, my thinking is more black and white. If you wish to keep your kid/s you will do what you need to to stay clean. It's a choice. |

I'm married to an NT, altho he has one or two flags that are somewhat Aspie, but not enough to hinder him, he's too social and a go getter. I have 2 kids, I always wanted 2 kids and I got them, one is 4, about to turn 5 in Jan, and has AS, and the other is 2.5 and was born with a clefting in the har... |

My whole family plays WoW. We play on Anetheron on Alliance. I have an 80 Hunter, Marks, and my husband has an 80 Priest, shadow/heal. Before that we played for years, EQ. My 4 y/o plays WoW, mainly he just runs around on our 80's, one of his favorite things to do is to take the FP's in Northrend an... |

Craftster.org is a great resource. They have 2 sections dedicated to sewing and asking questions and reconstruction. There are a few others out there too. I love reviews, especially on Amazon, as it's one of the few sites that everyone goes too. Reviews are how I decide on buying major things. Quali... |

I don't sympathize when in certain situations that others would, but I've learned to preface my inability to sympathize due to logic. For example, a friend of mine was telling me that he thought his ex g/f was doing Meth again. My response was "This is going to sound cold but no one is twisting her ... |

It took along time for my mother and I to come to terms. Basically her moving half way across the country was the terms. I love her, we aren't estranged but I can't take more than small doses of her. She does drive me nuts, she's also of the mind set that her thinking is the only way to think, and s... |

Hethera, I too started here for my preschool son and discovered so much more about myself. To the OP, thanks for posting that, it was very informative. I'm spot on that chart with everything except the diagnoses stuff as I was never diagnosed with anything. I could never understand why I mirrored ot... |

I tried many different birth control, the pill, the shot, condoms, I hated them all. Actually the shot made me crazy, seriously crazy, and it messed up my body so bad it took over a year after stopping the shots to get back to normal. After my second kid the Dr asked me if I wanted to have my tubes ... |

Thanks, sometimes I just need reminding of certain things. I was a 'rocker' as a child to self sooth, so the noise thing is off setting.
I will give your advise on the questioning a try, as of right now I will tell him a few times and then get frustrated and tell him I'm not telling him again. |

I know this is a normal trait for Aspies, but what I'm looking for is how to cope with it. My 4 y/o will ask the same question over and over again, he has undiagnosed aspergers. For me I have several red flags, I have coping issues myself, and so dealing with this is frustrating because how many tim... |

I'll ask my 4 y/o to do something like clean up his trains, I get one of two responses, "I'm too tired, it's a hot day out", even if he's been inside with the A/C on all day lol, OR he ignores me, when I ask him again he'll say "Awwwight, calm down!" |

My son currently has an IEP with the school district we are in. Because of wierd funky city drawn lines, we live in one city and he goes to the school district in another town district. We want to move to a house with cheaper rent, when we moved here a year ago we were rushed, as the house we were l... |

My son began lining up his trains at around age 2. He then soon began lining up other things like crayons and books (on the floor in a long line across the room). At the time we didn't think much of it, we just thought he liked things in order and what's the harm in that. He is now 4 1/2 and diagno... |

With my first pregnancy, I worked and went to school, so I had little time to really think about the crazyness that happens with hormones as I was always too tired to care at the end of the day. My second pregnancy, I was a Stay at home mom by then, and had an IMMENSE amount of time to just go nuts ... |
