basically, nobody thinks autism and asperger's are disorders, as they are already labeled as syndromes. Not quite right. It is called 299.80 Asperger's Disorder and 299.00 Autistic Disorder in the DSM-IV-TR. It is however called F84.5 Asperger's Syndrome and F84.0 Childhood Autism in the ICD-10. Pe...

i think you're allowed to do anything, but that doesn't stop people from expecting certain behaviors from you. the thing i keep trying to remember is that they don't feel like they have to act like you, so you really don't have to act like them.

mine is scheduled for the first, i'll tell you how it goes. i just learned about AS recently, but everything in my personality is explained by it, and i seem to be going through "the stages of grief" (denial, anger, depression, etc.). i keep feeling like there's something "wrong" with me, but at the...

i used to work at a kfc, and it was my job to make the chicken strips. well one day when i was asked to make strips, i informed them that the marinator (a big drum that you spin to add the flavors to the chicken) was dirty, as it had been used a few hours ago, and the dishwasher had not cleaned it y...

the problem i have with your statement is that asperger's is already classified as a "syndrome," it's not labeled a "disorder" to begin with, so your comparison seems backwards to me. if you had said that you agree with BPD as being a syndrome like asperger's and not the other way around like you wo...

well asperger's is already labeled a syndrome so you'd be right about the application

is it really mutism? i know i'm ABLE to talk physically, but i just can't seem to form the right string of words together or find the right time to say anything. i keep looking for an opening, but i can never seem to find the right one, like there's some sort of traffic in front of me that i'm too ...

Its all about image and BS to most people and cliques, so keep your guard up at all times. what is the appeal of this to people? i can never understand it...things like fashion make absolutely no sense to me. someone will ask me how they look, and i really have no real answer for them, they look th...

i really don't see how this is relevant at all...and how exactly are they defining 'curvy'? that is a vague description. 'curvy' could mean anything, really.

i am fascinated by bladed weapons and horror movies, but actual violence and injuries terrify me. i just like the look of a smooth and sharp blade, and how the metal feels (or ceramic, i find ceramic blades really interesting), and i also admire the artistry that goes into the special effects of hor...

I've read a few posts here. People say they hate to socialize but they can even feel depressed if they don't do it. Ok, so how can 2 different NEEDS like the one to be left alone and the one to socialize be explained? What do you mean by wanting to socialize..how would you define what you're lookin...
