I recall thinking the same, that it lost focus for me around the time David Duchovny appeared in that guest role and the whole drug investigation sub plot. I think David Lynch had left the series in others' hands for a while when he worked on a new movie or something. Whenever I hear of a showrunner...

Used to listen to this station all day at the last place I worked. After a couple of days you could pretty much predict the order of the playlists, not just the content. Very, very annoying. Classic FM or Five Live for me now.

Venger from Dungeons and Dragons. Seriously evil looking and had a cool flying horse. As a child of the '80s, he's the one.

My three would be Anasazi, One Breath and Paper Hearts. Anasazi is a great end to season two, full of twists and turns and I loved to see Mulder lose it like that, first with Skinner and then when he beat the s**t out of Krycek - best fight in the whole show, it's so brutal and raw. Scully is ultra ...

Greentea , that shot of the red beetle on the blue flower is excellent! I'd have been very pleased to have got that! What you won't have seen are the hundreds of blurry, badly exposed and wonkly framed pics that I've taken in my time. I've got barrow loads of those. And no, I'm not going to post an...

The not-going-out-if-you-don't-have-to thing would probably be diagnostic of depression in 99.5% of the population... :o However, with someone with an ASD, I would check for other symptoms or changes. Apathy, flat moods, lack of interest in hobbies, sleeping a lot or too little, negative thoughts, l...

AS is so deep and all-encompassing, that I don't have any idea how the magnitude and depth of its effects can be conveyed to the uninitiated in a few sentences. I've only just told my mum and sister of my strong suspicion (read certainty) that I have AS. It took me four and a half years to get to th...

I worked in a lovely office once, opposite a really nice NT girl who I'm still friends with. We would sometimes have that game where the first one to speak is a loser. I wouldn't have a problem not speaking to people for a week, it's not an issue for me, but my friend was useless at this game. Two o...

I've never had a maternal pang in my life. Cannot conceive (pardon the pun) of me bringing up a child, getting it ready for school, making its tea, making it go to bed, worring about who its friends are or aren't. The whole of the daily minutiae of having a kid boggles my mind. I have trouble lookin...

I'm a solitary soul, not at all fazed by pottering around by myself. I've lived by myself for 8 years now, and when someone upthread mentioned TV, I smiled. If I go to stay at my mum's and my sister is also staying I find it really, really frustrating trying to listen to the telly whilst they are ha...

Social Skills: I'd describe them as polite and efficient for everyday use. I can get through the usual hellos and how are yous and how was your weekends. For more involved stuff, I tend to let the other person do the talking and I listen. I try to keep eye contact, but it feels so weird, I end up l...

I got my SLR camera to photograph a meteor shower, but got obsessed by photography itself. I did a course at the local college, which was ok, but the week we had to photograph a model was horrible horrible horrible - having to strike up a rapport with a total stranger in front of twenty other people...

I have a handbag (sort of - it's a large-ish canvas shoulder bag with bronzey coloured sequins on it - the random pattern reminded me of constellations, which is why I bought it). I prefer larger bags as I like to keep essentials close at hand - umbrella, purse (as in money carrier), headache pills ...
