I love him so much but I fear years or decades ... |

Dump him, for your your own sake. That's the only advice I can give. I've loved someone with AS for 3 painful years, and he has done this sort of thing all the time. The record was not speaking to me for 4 months. Here is how Aspies work: If they don't know what to do/say--they just do nothing. I h... |

Being told "I love you" and being able to trust/believe that is one of life's greatest gifts. I have been unable to trust when my Aspie says "I love you" or more frequently, "I love you, too" to me because he has wavered so much in saying he can feel it/knows what it means and then taking all that b... |

THTony, I'm an NT woman and I have been involved on and off with an Aspie guy. Be grateful that you can actually feel love for this woman. My Aspie says he doesn't even know what love is. He uses the words "I love you" or "I love you, too" but he doesn't even know what it really means. Our relations... |

My Aspie's high level of self awareness/self reflectiveness/ability to empathize/forgive, etc.. is the only reason we were able to get back together after 8 months of no contact. It's a curse at times but it's so much more of a gift. When he is in the head space to do emotional work, he's the most a... |

@OP- do you live in the USA? sounds like a 6 month stay in a buddhist monastery on a work/study program might be a good idea. tons of free places around the country to do internships/seva (service) in exchange for food and housing. |

How is your nutrition? Are you eating well? Sleeping enough? Can you put on any ear protection to drown out some sound? What has worked for you in the past in terms of self-soothing? I'm NT and I feel burned out, shut down, exhausted also on many levels. For me, the worse I eat (sugar, processed foo... |

I'm NT and nothing bugs me more than people ignoring attempts at communication- personally and in business. When my communications are not returned, I find it inconsiderate (rude), unprofessional, and annoying. I have to set new boundaries with my Aspie friend. I give him a one hour grace period to ... |

This is so sad. I lost my friend, roommate, ex-lover, etc...when my Aspie just DELETED ME after 3 years and too many conflicts of wants/needs. He just walked away as if those entire 3 years never happened and has made zero attempt to contact me. I am respecting his deletion and not contacting him ei... |

My Aspie friend is into locking spiked leather collars, wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, and "yiff" (furry hentai porn). I think it's pretty sad he prefers cartoon animal sadomasochistic porn to having a real relationship with a real human being but whatever.... |

All good questions. I filed a professional complaint against her to the licensing board. He agreed to file also and then refused stating he was tired of dealing with it. He retreated into his special interested instead. |

My roommate agreed it would be a good idea to file a complaint with the licensing board for mental health workers. I filed one against her since I was a witness to alot of her unprofessionalism. He decided last night not to file (refused after agreeing) and just spent hours on his special interest i... |
