| While I sympathize with the motives behind the no cure movement, I think that people with ASD's have a right to be cured if they wish if a cure is ever found. My name is Ted. I'm 28 years old and was diagnosed with AS in the mid 1990's. I work in a college library.
I know many with AS have adopted the term as a form of pride, but I consider the term "aspie" offensive. You wouldn't call call someone with Down's syndrome a "downie" would you? |
