In the United States, we have only two major parties, and I'm sure many would agree that they do not give sufficient representation to the diversity of ideas and policy preferences of the people. The Republican Party represents the center-right to, increasingly, the far right with the activism of t...

I'd like to upgrade to it eventually, though for now I'm going to stick to SL. I'm still relatively new to the Mac world, having gotten my MacBook back in January.

gave them the feeling their mind was slipping away from the body and had a hard time crawling back into it. That would be an accurate statement 8O. One thing that I would note about salvia is that for me at least, it is the only drug I have taken to date where I can remember every minute and aspect...

Not to sound like a dick, but you sound like you don't have a clue what you're talking about. What kind of substances did you take to feel the effects you described? The effects you describe, remind me of psychedelics and marihuana. By no means can they be compared with using empathogenic substance...

Dear OP, Not to sound like a dick, but: You were not miraculously cured, nor did anything else magical happen to you as well on that night either. Guess what: I've also been cured, I've seen the face of God, I've witnessed the future, I have reached nirvana, and I've commanded the stars with my own ...

I'm not sure a "taboo" is required, only a sense of alienation from "mainstream society". Given the fact that we are posting on a site called "WrongPlanet", I'd say we have our sense of alienation. Your milage may vary, you've previously mentioned that you don't enjoy to associate with individuals ...

I have a "real" disability. It's called Autism. And I do not lack empathy. I wasn't suggesting that you or Alex or anyone else here has a lack of empathy Meadow. I was (in a dry and ironic way) pointing out that there are people out there who see disabilities in only dire physical or mental conditi...

Hello. My name is Shiloh. I am 20 years old and I have Asperger's. I go to College and I have an NT boyfriend and a few friends. But I do not ever get sarcasm. My boyfriend has taken to doing the sign language sign for "sarcasm" when we are in public so that I know when someone is saying something ...

The problem with that is I would have to commute over an hour each way, in a car, to attend a university, but with an Associates in Anthropology I then would be able to go get a Bachelor's in only two years, and move on to a master's. So I can see if I actually do enjoy anthropology and archeology....

Well, I usually force myself to get up, and then I do an epic three mile downhill bike ride. Once I'm at school, I usually enjoy a cigarette outside before and after classes. While I'm smoking I frequently run into classmates and my professors and often I will engage them in conversation for a bit. ...

Ok, so a tad bit of background. I already have an associates degree in Technology. It was from a technical college. I pretty much started going to prove to myself that I was far more intelligent than some previous bosses I had. Turns out I actually liked school. Now the choices. I have a choice to ...

One common characteristic of people with Asperger's is that we are more or less blind to the non verbal communications of others. As a result, we find ourselves forever saying and doing the wrong thing, with the best of intentions. We're described as arrogant, aloof, uncaring and inconsiderate. I c...

I've been told quite a few times (by both professionals and average joes) that I am quite high functioning and that most of them would never have suspected that I have an Autistic Disorder (AS) if I hadn't brought it up. However, in the last few years I have almost mastered the art of 'pretending to...

He is interesting to watch from time to time, I find most of his arguments to be rants rather then intellectually challenging, but he is interesting nonetheless. And he has an amazing neckbeard!
