We're here to help one another out. Creating ways to cope with issues. It does not help when someone mentions how much their life sucks, b/c of so so... Don't mention it...we all know... we dont need to be reminded.

i get this phrase thrown at me sometimes by people that i hang out with. In general people seem to have an issue with people who "don't get it", "or are way off". What is the big deal? Why can't people just not care if someone "doesnt get it"?

Yes I was more assertive when I was younger. I was more confident and more out going. I don't know what it is. As I got older, I've became more self conscious of myself. I used to make friends easily when I was younger. In fact, I was a well known student in middle school, but as soon as I got in m...

The reason why we can't make eye contact is b/c we have so much enregy in our system, that when we make eye contact with someone, to them we're starring at them with our eye lids wide open, as if we're seeing a ghost. From that point on, we see many people do the samething. So we end up being afraid...

Is there a specific way to handshake (ie finger placement) i'm not aware of? I shake hands, that look similar to everyone else, but when I do it, I notice people tend to get uncomfortable. Based on that, they have the instant perception of me, and I'm already on their bad side... My handshake is fir...

Is a lot of this staring/not making eye contact just unconscious behavior that needs to be unlearned or is there more to it? I believe that it is more than something that can be unconditioned. When I look people in the eye I feel as if my brain is receiving too much stimuli and that it "shuts down"...

In my experience, I have a group of friends, then there's this one friend, of the friends, who despises me w/o even knowing who I am. Then this person seems to focus on every "weird" thing I might do, and points it out to the others. Then hell breaks loose, b/c now these friends are noticing the "we...

Most NT's do not want to get involved in a serious conversation. Why is this? Is it their logic? It's our trait we want to speak only about ourselves... but if we listen to them, its never about us... Its almost as if they don't want to hear what we have to say. I'm not speaking about anything perso...
