I am an Accounting Major, and I attended an Accounting/Finance career night 2 days ago at my University. I spoke with 4 different people, each representing one of the different local CPA firms in my state, about my goals of looking for a summer internship. I handed a copy of my resume to 3 of them (... |

next time something like that happens, ask him where they put the work they were doing, then promptly go to the location, delete his/her work, and empty the recycle bin so he no longer has an excuse to bother you about it. Remind him that he is supposed to save work on an external device, not the co... |

I wouldn't even ask a girlfriend to do that. Any wise person can guess what might happen with those pictures if the relationship ever goes south. |

first attempt was when I was 13 or 14. My friend introduced me to the concept, but I didn't get anything out of it.
First time that I succeeded at it was when I was almost 16. |

I am a community college student looking to transfer to a 4 year university. And the particular college that I'm looking at happens to be a private university that requires applicants to submit a letter of recommendation from a professor or advisor. I'm probably going to ask the professor I've had t... |

I am thoroughly against any socialist Health Care system cropping up in the US. Citizens of a free nation should have equal opportunity to take care of THEMSELVES, not having Big Brother looking after them like they are children. And by "equal opportunity" I don't mean getting whatever services you ... |

I find that alot of horror movies from the 70s and early 80s have lots and lots of boring dialogue in it. Kubrick's The Shining is no exception. And most of them don't seem scary by today's standards. But that movie actually scared me (when I was 11) more than any scary movie I've seen since (includ... |

In reply to OP: I don't think this is the answer you were looking for, but I would kick him out of the house on the DAY that he turns 18. And if he goes into a rage again and commits assault or vandalism, turn him in to the police. Either way, it might give him a good hard reality-check, or it might... |

The other thing that I notice being REALLY hard for him is making choices. I feel like I don't know how to help him do this - it's like I'm torturing him by asking him to make a choice. For example, I'll say - what restaurant would you like to eat at? And he'll just shut down. This is true of choos... |

I voted permissive.
My parents weren't nearly as strict as most of my peer's parents were. But they weren't neglectful. |

I need to have an idea of what series of tasks to do on which days. Like, if I have a term paper for school, I will write down in a monthly planner what day I plan to look at it and make decision(s), when to start on it, how often to look back at it and continue, etc. Not necessarily all at once. I ... |

I've completed my 1st of 2 years at community college, so far, maintained a 3.8/3.9ish GPA, and will be the new Treasurer of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter next semester. I was originally planning to get my Associates degree in Accounting and find a job after wards. But now I am thinking about transfer... |

Just be sure to tell him not to go around mindlessly broadcasting himself as an Asperger's child. That will attract alot of unwanted attention and deny him any chance of having any normal friends. |
