Keeper of light, skulking around the corridors with your resplendent candle, You beckon with your brilliance, wayward moths doing a joyous waltz As they bask in your flame, lapping up the opium, spoon-fed, Sweet nectar, mental chamomile tea Yet I seek solace in the dark, Cavort with moon and star, S...

Well, you could probably still get some of these guys in the wild depending on what's available in-game. Like I said, they aren't special, just intended to give you more options for your starter. I would also add the possibility of unique abilities- not sure about gen VI but Wailmer's abilities in g...

Let's not get carried away. I chose those particular Pokemon because I feel they are appropriate representatives of their respective types. It allows more flexibility in what you begin the game with, but I think suggesting legendary Pokemon as starters is stretching it. I mean, it would be nice to g...

I believe that it would depend on the game this is implemented in. Some of them may not be available in the wild. And frankly at the beginning of the majority of these Pokemon would be special. But does it matter? The idea is that you're adopting a Pokemon for a partner, not the picking from the tra...

What if you had more choices for starters? Imagine being asked a question with four possible answers at the beginning of the game... "What is your skill level as a trainer? Some Pokemon are harder to partner with than others, and I need to be sure I'm not giving you more than you can handle." -"I'm ...

I have a crush on my art instructor and I'm not sure how to handle it. Her: Mid/late twenties, has a master's degree and is a single mom with two young daughters. Me: College student, 21 years old, works at Walmart unloading trucks. No kids, never been in a relationship. I don't know how to handle t...

Lord, I wish I could. But I work for Walmart and a.) it's the holidays and b.) I am part-time. I don't get to negotiate time off, sadly. I'm also in college, which only adds to my stress.

I'm tired. Just tired. I am 21 and I've already turned into a cynical old bastard. I just want to snap and break away from it all. Do the the things I want to do but can't because I'm too damn busy trying to be Mr. Responsible Adult. -Plant a garden. -Enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. -Le...

Dear best friend, I will never be able to express how much you mean to me. I wish we could spend more time together, or that you would at least call me or make some effort to communicate with me more than 30 minutes a week. I love you. I love you more as a best friend than I ever would have as a gir...

This is actually my first attempt at poetry or any kind of creative writing in three years. Another twilight gathering, a familiar agenda, My queen in all her splendor. Radiant hazel eyes, frozen with purpose, Silken robes buckle, crashing upon the floor. Only the moon’s tender kiss draping her sati...

Dear sociology professor, I feel like I am wasting my time with your class. I registered for it because sociology is new to me and I want to learn about it. I was disappointed to discover, however that all you do is spout conservative rhetoric without even the slightest hint of objectivity. You say ...
