That was the 2004 map. Maybe the Singaporan should focus less on the shortcomings of the US and more on why his own country still has torture enacted into its legal code, too...

I don't have a religion. I mainly focus on Christianity because it is the predominant religion where I live and the one that tries to turn it's views into my laws. Obviously nobody has the time to study every religion ever invented.

If you read it the pre-1954 one is much more poetic. Adding 2 more syllables ruins it. It was added by request of a fanatical Catholic group known as the "Knights of Columbus." Also heavilly influenced by McCarthyism and the idea (still sometimes used by idiots today) equating Atheism with Soviet-st...

Better than a link to an explanation of something that was distantly related but didn't answer the question.

Yeah - things are far away in small towns - and there isn't public transportation, either. Actually cities are necessary for a lot of needed infrastructure.

True there's never been liberty/justice for all, but it was actually written around 1900 and not adopted until WWI.

Never ead the Torah, but I actually have read both the BuyBull and The Qaran completely. By the way I know a few atheists who were Christians UNTIL they read the entire Bible.

Humanism isn't a religion, BTW. It's a Philosophy and I accept it.

Well, a god that had revealed himself through an idiotic book and would damn people for non-belief or believing in another idiotic book would be evil. Belief isn't a choice. Any god deserving the title would make obvious to anyone and everyone he was real and make his rules clear to all too. Since w...

What if there's a god that doesn't care if you're an atheist but will damn you if you believe in any other god - and he hasn't revealed himself? What if there's one who will only save those who don't believe? What if it's based on something you wouldn't think like hair color or it's totally random?
