I always seem to end up being "friends" with the strangest, most unexpected people. :) There's always a mentor/student sort of relationship in the friendship. I am always the eager student trying to learn. It doesn't mean I end up friends with ALL my mentors, just one or two of them. I'm kind fo eli...

I've studied the Ainu people a little bit and they believe that there is a form of life in everything. Is it a fact? No. Is it truth? Maybe. Is there an objective truth? Possibly. Is being a being in itself, or is it separate? Does it need the traditional idea of a "god" to be a being? If there were...

Sometimes I hate those more. The ones where you wake and feel so alone that you start to question your sanity. Like the aura of the dream has followed you out of sleep and you just can't get away from it... I know. I have that quite a bit, too. These few days, I've been gritting my teeth a lot (pro...

No, you are not alone. I also have horrendous nightmares. Do you have someone, or a favorite stuffed animal or something to snuggle/stroke for when this happens? If not how do you (or anyone else who reads this) handle the situation? :? It's good to hear that I'm not the only one. I have a stuffed ...

I've had terrible nightmares in the middle of the night. I often wake up from them in fear, wanting to scream but being unable to. Sometimes I don't even remember what the nightmares were, but yesterday it was very vivid and I couldn't go back to sleep because I was so scared. :? Do any of you have ...

If you notice, most paid ads on the web have crack "solutions". Any website that features crack info about AS either is trying to sell something or trying to pander to a certain group to gain benefits (donations, etc). This happens if clientelle is not chosen directly by the host itself. Google only...

Tidbit: I like playing The Sims because it doesn't involve real-life socialisation... I don't play violent games because I just don't like violence, I suppose. And I've got industrial music to angst out all ...

Silence only leads to stagnation. People will be stuck thinking what the media wants them to think.

(Of course, it's also pretty nice to scare people. Heh.)

the original article had so many fallacies, it's hard to even think anybody will take it seriously. As for psychoanalysts, I have a deep distrust with them, especially when it comes to autism. Period. That's why I went to an actual scientist first before going to those pseudo-scientists for my diagn...
