I linger without saying anything. Or lurk, however you want to put it.
It is mostly because life is hectic. I rarely have the time to read something and respond before I have to run off for another class or work. >_< |

Thanks for the further insight, ww. I know what you mean when you say things might seem out of proportion. I feel that all the time at home because it actually is quite there compared to at work. (At work it is more like a circus with people running in and out of the door all the time.) Though, this... |

I had several interviews at various universities, but each one I wasn't outright denied. I spent a lot of money and time applying to their universities with a sense of false hope. I know how you feel on that one. I got into a master's programme only through sheer pity, I think. My GPA wasn't that go... |

Oddly, I remember posting once, and at that time my Internet connection crashed. I guess this forum likes to make sure I'm heard. |

This gives me hope. I have been watching how I interact with people carefully and trying to evaluate my own actions. I've noticed some good and bad things, but thankfully more good than bad. One thing that bothers me is that I tend to get very focused on what I'm doing. When someone interrupts me, I... |

Haha. Couldn't have said it better meself, Zer0netgain. I'm currently happy that I'm back in school so I can defer my payments until I can (hopefully) find a job that will allow me to pay them and eat at the same time. |

My favourite things to do when I'm having those days: 1.) Wash my face with cold water. 2.) Yoga in my tiny little cube. It is difficult, but relaxing and rejuvenating if I can do just a few stretches. 3.) Stair running. On any day that I can escape for a few more moments, I like to run up and down ... |

I just got back from teaching in China. I would recommend working with a company rather than on your own. It is tough even there to get and keep a job. Though, how much would you guys want to write research papers on various topics and have them "published". I am thinking about doing this on my site... |

Heh. I had figured we'd get off topic. I thought that I'd either be told that he does or doesn't, and get advice on how to deal with people in general, if I didn't have it already figured out. I don't think I have all the answer yet; I don't think I ever will. Humans are tricky to deal with. I know ... |

The problem I found with not reacting in the expected way is that I ended up in a mental institute. My aunt thought something was seriously wrong with me, so she put me in there. She meant well, but the only thing I learnt to do is throw up my medication and lie to the nurses and doctors so I could ... |

Personally I think at this point it no longer matters weather Jove has AS or not, the thing about AS and social issues isn't that we can't do it but that we have to be taught or selfteach, learning subtle stuff like body-language or subtext is hard and often we never get it but for easy stuff like ... |

I find it interesting that a few of you have mentioned "sociopath" in this. I am slightly taken aback by that because I, myself, am diagnosed as a borderline sociopath because I conditioned myself to not feel anything. This was mostly a personal choice to survive an upbringing with my mother. I hope... |

I did read through much of the forums and articles before signing up for an account so I could try to understand on my own. I don't want you think that I am mean for saying this, but many of you sound like any other person I've met. A lot of people get depressed, seem like they have ADHD or whateve... |

If Jove's work is competent but he is not a team player, those qualities would lend credibility to his Asperger diagnosis. On the other hand, dishonesty and stalking would tend to disqualify the diagnosis. Sadly, he is not competent. It took me over 10 times longer to train him that it did the next... |

You guys have been very, very helpful. Though, I feel I've just scratched the surface with what I can do to make the working place easier for all the people, really.
