Absolutely. I moved to Seattle for the over-cast skies. I find that wearing baseball caps helps, as well as sunglasses. |

I assume you already know quite a bit about dog training, if you are working on heeling. Definitely treat-based training does improve a puppy's focus, but it's going to take time and effort outdoors. When I first got my dog, she would bark quite often, which was hard for me. We tried several things,... |

I had major sensory issue as a kid, which became milder after puberty, and then ramped back up in my 30's. All of the links, blogs, etc. that I can find online seem to only discuss soft clothing and items for KIDS on the spectrum, not adults. I've finally found two online stores that have excellent,... |

My "resting face" is pretty blank, which is fine, but I sometimes apparently accidentally signal disagreement or disapproval with my face when I'm just thinking and listening, which causes problems in meetings at work. |

There is a conference in Seattle every summer which is a fantastic resource: http://www.genderodysseyfamily.org/ 'Support for Families Raising Gender-Nonconforming and Transgender Children' I agree with all of the people who suggested that you be supportive of your child by using the mane and pronou... |

I always walk home from the gym, and then take a shower as soon as I get home.
I work-out twice a week, for about 45 minutes a time, with a mix of resistance machines and free weights. In addition I walk over an hour a day, including a very steep hill on the way to work. |

I hope the meeting went well! I'm an Aspie, and I teach 12-14 year-old students. At the start of the year, I give my students a letter in which I introduce myself to them. I don't disclose that I'm on the spectrum, but I discuss my strengths and weaknesses as a teacher. I let them know that I have p... |

It doesn't sound like you need a diet. You might have more muscle than the other girls do - muscle is much more dense than fat! |

That's smart - don't disclose anything in an interview. How about your landlord? They might make a decent reference. |

There are a few questions you might want to discuss with her. 1) Does she ever masturbate for pleasure? And if so, does she orgasm? (Basically, I'm wondering if guys just haven't done a very good job of touching her without setting off her sensory issues.) 2) Is it intercourse she doesn't want, or a... |

I used to have a very high sex drive. But since my hysterectomy last year, it has dropped off by a lot. I still masturbate every day, but I very rarely am interested in sex with another person. |

It sounds like you might be a hetero-romantic asexual. That's cool. Here are some links you might want to check out: https://asexualagenda.wordpress.com/101-resources/ People on the spectrum seem to display more variation in their gender expression and sexuality than NT's. That might be because we'r... |

I think it has been somewhat helpful. My partner is more understanding about my inability to talk when emotional, and how hard it is for me to break my flow to switch gears and pay attention to her, know that we know I'm on the spectrum. |

I live in WA, where marijuana is legal. I've used it at times when I was feeling anxious, and it was helpful. However, on days when I was suffering from sensory overload, it made things worse. Also, I found it made it very hard for me to focus. I have to say, stoned people are far less likely to be ... |

I've been married for 23 years, and spent most of that in an open or poly relationship. For 4 years we were living with a third, a girlfriend, which was great. Unfortunately she had to move across country, to look after an elderly family member, but our parting was affectionate. I find that, as some... |
