I was bullied by classmates from kindergarden to gr.7, physically and verbally. It upset me, I cried (in private) but did nothing about it. The teachers didn't care either. Now that I look back, I wish I would've stood up to those kids.

I wish I could change the lack of social and communication skills part of it, though I didn't mind having better grades than my NT siblings.

Yea and it also drives me crazy to feel like I haven't accomplished anything. Who cares about how people are supposed to live. You should take your time, I don't think it's a big deal if you're living with parents at 20-something, a lot of people still do plus it saves money.

Fighting bullies is hard, I used to ignore them but it just got worse. They take advantage of you if you ignore them. I found bullies actually back down if you talk back to them.

omg that's so true they just don't get it, you can't just go out and start to make friends. It takes more effort on our part. It's like the nts are just born with confidence.

I still care about my appearance, though I guess it's influence from others because just a few years ago I didn't care at all until relatives said that I need to dress better and I myself wanted to blend in with others my age.
