So, let's assume we experience emotions so strongly that we develop a block on our own empathy as a survival mechanism, thus seeming to be emotionless and hyper-logical. Does this sound like a description of Vulcans to anyone else? The logic answer would be: No, aspies don't have pointy ears. :p th...

I do not consciously mimic others, but this topic reminds me of something else I do: subtly and mostly unconsciously 'parrotting' others, that's figures of speech, intonation, a bit of body language even. I'm wary of doing this too much. Yeh I do that too sometimes, saying the same words as they us...

Well my mother told me I did that stuff too sometimes, probably at the same age. I try not to think about it though since it makes me feel awkward.

but I might get back into the mood where I feel like a total failure again. It's a mood I always go into and out of again. I guess that's just an aspie thing, I have it too, It's like a wave going up and down, when it's down I just lose my inspiration to do something creative, those aspie writer bl...

Dick Solomon from 3rd Rock from the Sun, I mean com'n if anyone is on the wrong planet, than he is.

He takes everything to literally.

Has no idea of proper social behaviour.

He has the habit to offend people by saying things to bluntly.

He's a professor.

You should try to find something you like to do, as long as you like to do it, it won't matter if you are good at it or not.

Also it's well known that it takes 10% talent and 90% hard work to get to the top of anything.

I get it when people are engaged in a heated debate in front of me. Not sure why. Maybe it's a coping strategy? I get very anxious when there are heated arguments (unless it's me that's doing the arguing!) That reminds me, I also have that weird grin on my face when someone is being mad it me, I me...

Well I know I can't help it but having that childish smile/grin when people are talking about sex or love, also I have trouble sometimes with questionable words (such as cock and dick, damn I even grinned after writing them right now). What I always try to do in such situations is biting my lip/chee...

Sometimes I wish people could actually 'see' that I'm an aspie, always when I tell someone about me being one I get responses like: 'Oh, I never noticed...' in my head I translate it to: 'Oh, so that's why he's so awkward and quiet...'. That's the whole problem with having aspergers, people don't no...

I always wonder why people say hi to me (or just my name), what their intentions are, I guess I'm a bit suspicious about people and their intentions because of being bullied my whole life. I always take some seconds to determine friend or enemy, most of time when I decide to say hi back I'm almost o...

I am pretty sure that Vader was unable to use lightning due to the fact that it would backfire and short circuit his life support systems, that is atleast what it says in Wookieepedia. I read somewhere (I guess it was the fact files) that Vader can't do force lightning since he has no hands anymore.

Yeh, my mum had to tell me whole the time to look both ways, I'm ok with crossing the road now but I often miss traffic lights when I'm in a new area, it amazes me I'm still alive.
