Ah, that'll be Maxine Aston's little cult... Don't pay any attention to them. Half of all NT/NT marriages fail--half of all NT/AS marriages fail too. (I think I heard somewhere that the percentage was actually somewhat lower, but I can't remember where, so I won't officially make that claim.) And w... |

I've been wrong about the person in the past, and always have doubts from that.
If they ever ask you about it later, just be honest and say 'I thought it was you, but couldn't quite tell'. I've done this so many times, and no one seems to take offense to it. |

That's one of the reasons I want to quit so badly but I can't because any future employer would contact this manager who would say "Oh her? She's a real b***h." and I don't know how to get around future employers contacting this one. That is an opinion, and could easily be considered slander/defama... |

Excuse the length, but this is a relevant topic on where I have been working and improving lately. Can't say I'm any expert, but I've been really working on this exact thing recently (more... obsessing). I'm also only really put into social situations at work, so that is all the context of this. Out... |

I would guess NTs pick up the social skills we miss, naturally, before they are even able to understand texting. Even then, they have the brain connectivity to understand and learn these things dynamically. It may be similar to a bad upbringing, but not near the same issue. Unless texting at an earl... |

I feel that moving to a strange place, alone, is a pretty scary idea for most of us. This would also be a major change in routine which could be considered traumatic to the AS person. It doesn't seem like he had a normal lifestyle for someone with AS to me, (not saying that people with AS are incapa... |

I haven't had anything serious ever happen that I am aware of, although it is the minor things that impact me the most (or, they are considered traumatic to me personally). Wether or not I am interpreting reality correctly, I do often lose trust in people easily over things that most people would co... |

My NT wife has this as well, she can bring these ancient issues up in any argument we have. This isn't an AS thing at all IMO. |

Not actively. It is very easy to become confused about peoples intentions and start going down the path of paranoia (do these people hang out with me just because I have money? etc). Not being able to understand peoples true intentions, it is easy to get caught up in the conflict between trusting an... |

To add to the conspiracy theory: Adobe is known to collect bodies in their Seattle parking lot (under a high bridge where suicide is common). Might be a related incident of stacking of dead bodies. |

I describe it as more of a rubber ball. I feel loneliness, then I attempt to be social for a bit. After a while, I start absorbing what has happened, and becoming more unsure of my actions and wether or not what I said was appropriate, wether or not people actually like me, etc. Then I bounce back t... |

I've been terrible at identifying accents throughout life, unless they are very extreme. My wife from the mid-west constantly bothers me about at the way I say things, then a local radio personality she likes ended up saying most of the words the same way I do, so I assumed this was leaning towards ... |

I think multiple choice for recognizing emotions makes it easier than it should be. Real life is not multiple choice. :) I had a word for my opinion before reading all the answers, which was usually not matching any of the below ones. I am assuming the honest answer then is 'I don't know' instead o... |

I just saw it last Thursday the 13th at Regal Meridian (Seattle). It was the only screening day that I am aware of. |
