So, am I the only girl in the world who absolutely positively cannot tolerate a bra? I tried wearing them in my early teens but it was like I don't know.. I suppose it felt the way it would feel to have several layers of duck tape around ones chest. So I don't wear them. I don't believe that I've ev... |

Hey, at least you don't get angry and bite things (and sometimes myself) like I do. Heh. |

Symptoms of AS absolutely can't all be blamed on social awkwardness. That's just absurd. The only reason you *need* to get a diagnosis of AS is if you need one. I had to be diagnosed again recently because I have sensory issues and I can't take tests in a room with a bunch of people, the wrong kind ... |

The Rolling Stones, for an example, are the Rolling Stones, a bunch of doped up little dolts. There is no secondary meaning to "Paint it Black" it's just a bunch of words that make up a mediocre song. you forgot to mention how ugly they all are too..... one of my favourite phrases, used to describe... |

Also I loath loath loath over interpreting things. Ugh everyone always things that there is some hidden suggestive meaning in absolutely everything. Why can't anyone take words at face value? The Rolling Stones, for an example, are the Rolling Stones, a bunch of doped up little dolts. There is no se... |

"I see a red door and I want to paint it black" Yeah, most people caught that one. Even if you don't know that Beatles song, the sentence does have a certain mood to it, regardless of context. Basically, a depressed guy doesn't want to be reminded that there are other, happy people in the world, an... |

Yes, I figured that possibility was the most likely. Gradin associates thinking in images with speech delay in regular autism. I was ponder, then, are all (regular) autistic people left brained while people with AS are split 60% left brain 30% right brain? y No. Left brain: words, logic and facts R... |

200 views and only 7 replies? Weak bros. Anyway, time for me to clear some stuff up. Some of those phrases maybe were better understandable with a bit of context, but they can stand on their own pretty well too, I think "I see a red door and I want to paint it black" Yeah, most people caught that o... |

People typically think that I'm 15 or 16. I'm nearly 20. It's dreadfully annoying. |

it's leftbrainer v.s. rightbrainer while one half of the brain works with words, logic and facts the other part works with images, sounds and abstract-chaos. The fun thing is that people that can not picture a duck in their head can picture a triangle, circle, square etc as these are part of logic.... |

I put that I think verbally, but I actually think that the words are a clarification of a thought that exists on a level before words - I can't grasp hold of a thought without putting it into words, but the thought is there before the words are. See, I don't get that. To me a thought consists of wo... |

Today I learned that some people think in pictures. I had no idea that this was even possible until this morning when I was having a conversation with my NT boyfriend about how animals think. "They think in pictures" said he. "They do what?" said I. "They think in pictures." I was baffled. "Do you t... |
