I just want to feel sorry for myself a bit
I met someone so smart, diverse, playful, and outside the box. Such a flirt. A word-nerd. Why didn't I know better?
I feel so stupid |

I was reminded that I am unlikable.
I knew it, but I forgot for a minute. For just that minute I felt what I thought was being liked. But I was mistaken
I will say only 5 b/c it's run its course, but at least 5 b/c I really enjoyed the lie. |

Excellent analysis.
APA too frequently relies on double-dipping stats. They find comfort in pathology over diversity, them vs Us
Might I refer to it as a link b/t APA & "Cluster F personalities"? |

Since your questions are based on false pretenses I don't want to state or ask if there is a scientifically/statistically proven link between having Aspergers and having a cluster B (narcissistic, histrionic, antisocial, borderline) personality disorder. Since only a few nt people fall into this cat... |

1. is it true that people with mild autism or Aspergers can never have cluster B personalities? . The topic requires more research. I don't see why those disorders had to rule out each other - but I met people misdiagnosed with cluster B before obtaining the right diagnoses of autism, so the resear... |

I never had a migraine headache in my life, but yesterday I got a Scintillating scotoma (an aura that preludes migraines), but with no migraine. Not good, as Scintillating scotoma is also associated with stroke and epilepsy, and being on the spectrum I'm very likely to suffer from the latter (I've ... |

I am glad autistic is used to describe a wider variety of people these days. i am glad everybody is not using it as a complete negative anymore. I am still careful about where I talk about it, although where I work now there seems to be more than the usual who I suspect might be. It makes the job m... |

I don't believe Gender Identity Disorder is a mental disorder at all, for example, as it is cured by physical means. Good point! It's interesting about the psychological profession though - I have a knack, of sorts, for being unclassifiable. Which means psychometric testing doesn't work with me - t... |

I don't believe the lies the "experts" put on autistics (what you call alexithymic characteristics), but I use their beliefs to better understand how neurotypicals perceive us anthropologically - to navigate the world they control (i.e. TRW) with enough success to bring home a paycheck. L... |

ret*d means slow. ret*d has pretty much always been a pejorative. If people want to reappropriate that word into something positive I would be for that effort. But that's silly. Why should we change the meaning of existing words. That's like going through the dictionary and scoring out words we don... |

I find that this happens to me quite often. I can't seem to pinpoint what is overstimulating me, and it drives me nuts. Any thoughts/advice on how to deal with this? I was getting agitated, then heard my daughter comment that she was shutting off TV because of the high pitched noise it was making. ... |
