I've been so sick but unable to communicate it right for too long. I was doing fine on my own, even with trying to diagnose and recover from a chronic inflammatory condition, but my landlord assaulted me in April and injured, I shut down. Struggling to get protection legally failed so I moved out in... |

I hyperfocus into repetitive tasks and thus can easily do them for hours and hours without noticing the time much less anything else. It's good in that sense but bad in the sense of missing other things going on, like someone trying to talk to me, or working longer than I'm supposed to and then not ... |

but i realized after a few weeks, that here is a social pecking order here I had no idea there was a pecking order. But now that I know, I will continue to ignore it. Same. Only "pecking order" I know of is posters, mods, admins. Oh I missed that one too. Thinking back over the posts I've read and ... |

After growing to be miserable anticipating sex knowing I'd end up with a yeast infection ever time after it, I finally found out I've a latex allergy. No latex and the sex functioned as it's supposed to. However once a month the infection still happened. Turns out the majority of the feminine pads w... |

I have this problem as well. In such situations, words flat out fail me. Only once has the right words happened on time. Scripts? I need to look this up. |

I've had this in a number of workplaces, and I'm yet to find any good ways of dealing with it. I'm quite certain I go into such workplaces with the word 'victim' tattooed on my forehead in NT-only ink. My inability to participate in these pointless social rituals sees me eventually ostracised and b... |

Very good topic that has had me tearing up reading through everyone's replies to it for how painfully familiar it is. I hit the aesthetic genetic jackpot and had absolutely no clue for the majority of my life. I 'knew' that I was invisible because no one Ever asked me out in school. Even doing model... |

I to have found the repeated words of being friends but when it comes to inviting people out I'm not. I feel split about it as I'm not one much for going out but it feels good to be Wanted there. |

I lacked the sense of entitlement to their time and money that their other partners had had. I am much more male than female and my interests and attitudes reflect this. I never intended to marry or have children. Many didn't understand this at all. I was not able to fall in love with them, but the... |

There's a guy I've liked since meeting him two years ago. Time passed and we have made a point to be in each other's lives finally post that first meeting. Two dates later and he says the most heart-warming-yet-frightening thing: "You're not like other girls. You're mechanically minded, you build th... |

Yep me too. I do this all the time and mostly don't notice it till you see them react badly then you think over what was just said and you realize it was cutting in it's honesty. The residual feeling that I'm a jerk lurks in the aftermath. It just doesn't occur to my to lie and I don't always shut u... |

I start tripping over my tongue pretty bad. Apparently I'm taken to be flirting when I'm just being myself but around someone attractive I do pretty well freeze up. |

Yep, I hear the compliment "you've got dreamy eyes" as often as asking if I'm stoned when I'm thinking. Otherwise my eyes are huge and I use them as part of my expressions to supplement my talking or instead of talking. http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/66/m_54e3f9271fbffc705dc9feb7f9a3619... |

It doesn't even occur to me to lie much less cheat. So far, every single one of my relationships (all 3, Ooo) ended because I found out the guy cheated on me and I broke up with him. It's very hard to trust this won't happen again. If I found myself wanting another it would be a clear sign to me I w... |
