one statistic that doesn't really change is the proportion of people who meet their future spouse through friends - it tends to stay at about 1/3. 100% agree. Work only opens up more relationship possibilities. If you have some friends at work, you can ask them if you know someone who is single. Or...

I agree with a previous poster, expand your group of friends. Of all the dates that I have been on, most of them have been directly or indirectly through my circle. Ask your friends if you know of a single girl. That way, if somebody sets you up, you don't have to worry about asking for the first da...

I dated a girl for three months from OKC, so I can't say that it doesn't work. In general, I would say that 25% of the women I send a message to will respond. Of that, probably another 10% make it to a date. Like any type of dating, it takes work. You need to read the entire profile, see what you li...

Almost always. I play into it though, I have a sarcastic sense of humor and I can make the other person seem like a fool.

Yeah, Buffalo has (had?) an autism center of some sort. But when I went there, probably 15 years ago, it was more for people with severe disabilities. I really dont feel like driving back and forth anyway. Id be happy with a meetup of some sort, but im looking for people closer to my age. No offense...

There seems to be plenty of help for children and teens when it comes to aspergers. But when I've tried to get help on my own, there is almost nothing out there, other than general counseling and therapy. So Im looking to see if there are any specific counselors or support groups for people with asp...

Without a doubt I feel love. I love my wife, my family and pets. But I would describe my love as rational, as those I do not know, have no effect on my life and I do not love them. Many people are much more emotional and can feel love toward people they have never met. The latter is not me.

Come on guys, I am AS myself and I like to enjoy these kinds of things. I like to go hit up bars, clubs, and that kind of stuff and it is a fun place to hang out and meet people if you ask me. I guess I am a very rare case here, I have party animal instincts, what can I say, lollll :D Well there yo...

My wife and I had moved to another metro area for work. Even though I still have longtime friends, I find it difficult for myself to find new ones. I would say putting yourself out there is probably the first step, if your not around anybody, your not going to gain any interaction skills.

So I was diagnosed with aspergers when I was about fifteen. I have not seen a psychiatrist since I was probably sixteen, so that was twelve years ago. At least in my opinion, I have probably had some type of anxiety for a long time. As of late however, it is really starting to bother me and the peop...
