I was once called a baby killer in the grocery store but that was I think because I made the mistake of going off post in uniform. I never did that again.
All of the sudden I understood why the sergeants said never to do that.

I always hated this attitude in school. Just phrasing an answer differently was enough to get it wrong with some teachers. Since leaving I have found out that many were afraid to stray from the acceptable path because they would have been fired. I used to draw on my arm during class and I had to pro...

YMBAAI you enjoy wearing costumes on days other than halloween, and actually do wear them. Being godzilla in a grocery store is fun :D . My job is to dress as a pirate at a halloween shop. It is fun. Nobody expects a pirate to act normal either. I am so jealous. I work in a fancy fashion store in a...

I have never been stung by bees wasps or hornets, I am only rarely bitten by ticks mosquitoes and flies. As a general rule nature just tends to leave me alone. I like it better that way.

I do the exact same thing, although when I am not paying attention I tend to start muttering the lines to myself. I have used this to help me write stories, both fiction and otherwise, with some success. I think reading a lot taught me to think that way so easily and thinking that way taught me to w...

YMBAAI: You have worn your shoes down to the point where describing the bottoms as "soles" seem like a bit of an exaggeration, but even after trying for weeks you can't talk yourself into going to buy new ones. Using the excuse that they don't (quite) have holes in the bottoms yet and they don't loo...

First I must say that I am not a christian as that will probably make the rest of this make more sense. I believe we are put here to endure suffering. Not to be tested as many would put forth but rather to be tempered by the pain. To be strengthened by the difficulty and agony of our existence. I al...

My code has always been.

Discipline is strength,
Strength is survival.

Pain is weakness,
Weakness is death.

There is no pain,
There is no hope.

Kind of depressing, I've been trying to get away from it, but it helps when stubborn is all you have.

I don't get what is so wrong with this one, but from experience it tends to go over like a dead fish.

On a related note don't laugh at an amusing mental picture they will just want to know what is so funny and then proceed not to understand it.

From someone who has been in a similar situation, the only thing that helped me was accepting that they were weak. Accepting that this person had become a hate filled monster and that while she didn't really deserve any kind of forgiveness she was incapable of understanding or even realizing the thi...

In my army ID I had no beard and my hair was shaved off. Every one said I looked like an 18 year old serial killer. Two years later and out of the army with long hair and a full beard I looked like an 30s mountain man. All my pictures look creepy and violent. I'm not sure why. I'm 23 by the way. I j...
