I used to make up an extra harmony part on certain Beatles songs, as if I could go in a time machine, sing it for them, and point out they really needed to hire me to help their band out.... |

Yes, not only for songs and classical pieces, but with songs I write; I just now got done playing a new song about 20 times in a row. |

Not asked per se, but assumed, and in fact I had to punch one guy out who wouldn't take no for an answer and was going to get physical (in the non-fighting sense of the word). In my case, being borderline Aspie, I'd say it's the artistic side of me that makes them think I am. Nothing could be furthe... |

AM, a friendly suggestion: Please, please PLEASE do not do the Mystery Pick-up Artist thing! You should go read some of David Wygant - the man whose real life was the model for Hitch (Will Smith). He is dead-set against PUA, line memorization, magic tricks, dressing like a clown and all the other no... |

My answer (from personal experience): she might be saving you the trouble of being mis-matched. OK flash back to me after HS graduation, I went to Europe as a reward for good HS grades, good college entrance exam and acceptance to one of the Universities of my choice, and just by chance ran into one... |

Appreciate the advice but if the other person is paying attention they will realize you are not looking them in the eyes and will wonder why. I have trouble looking into the eyes of a beautiful woman - not because I'm shy but because the longer I keep eye contact the more likely she can read my mind... |

How good are you guys at taking this? It feels like this is exactly where my asperger's affects me in a social circle after everybody knows each other pretty well. It's almost like after somebody finds out you don't respond well to getting your balls busted, your position in that social group start... |

I pretty much lurk on this forum but felt compelled to register and post on this issue. Basically I'm NT but have been lurking because I had a new coworker 'David' who I think is on the spectrum and I wanted to try to understand his behaviour better. The reason I wanted to post is to say that this ... |

"I know of some women who think that Mexican men are superior to American men because Mexican men are much more passionate, warmer, chivalrous and more likely to treat a woman like a lady (for example, opening doors for them, etc.). In comparison, American men are cold, boring, and selfish." I'll t... |

Do I want to be committed to this one girl? Why? How do I get involved? Why do I get involved? How do I start a re... |

Let me start by saying that although Aspie I don't generally have trouble finding a gf, but I used to tend to choose wrong!! LOL OK so I'd just gotten thru some stuff with an ex-wife and decided not to date for awhile as it was a very bitter breakup, and reflected on the fact that since I tended to ... |

First of all let me begin by saying I have cured most of the issues that held me back in the past, and recently came to the conclusion that should I need to (I have a girlfriend), I can go approach women without fear. So I will list those things that did hold me back in the past: 1. lack of self-con... |

I have read David De Angelo (lame - cocky funny is not cool) and Joseph Matthews (a little better but oh so much to memorize) and also just finished "The Game" (which was really informative) but the bottom line is that all that lame PUA stuff is out there in the world so anytime newbies try to use r... |

I am working on not looking at all women like this. I'm getting better I think. But when a few different women in a row treat you like this, its hard not to generialize. I am not say that my generalizing is right. I never heard of Ladder Theory, but to be honest I am not to keen on reading anything... |

KenM, I agree with Dhp. I went thru a phase in my early 20's when I seemingly ran into the worst examples of womanhood you could ever imagine, then constantly got friendzoned, primarily for lack of reading signals she was not into me (the old body language thing) and partly because I chased, bought ... |

Mine is now 104. Last year at this time it was around 40 (the three times I took it then). I guess I don't have AS after all, it must have been a combination of INTJ, shyness, a mini-depression and just a weird-musician brain. I think some of this score change must also have to do with reading books... |
