The small software development/hosting firm I work with as recently begun using the Aspie Quiz as an integral part of assessing incoming potential developers. Basically if you aren't ASD enough you won't get hired for a developer job... intentionally combining Aspie powers against something analytic... |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRZ2Sh5-XuM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnydFmqHuVo Both, hilarious. Thank you! This is the video that started my interest in "strange" stop-motion, and music that has odd time signatures. The dubstep video sort of has some of the same elements. That and the thin... |

I recently figured out I really like (good) dubstep... wondering if that is sort of an aspie thing, nonstandard instruments and all the crazy time signature changes and general frenetic style of it. This video fascinates me, how about you all? I think this one also speaks to me due to the beginning-... |

Something like Pavlov's experiment, except when you heard the bell it wouldn't be your mouth that was salivating? |

I thought 'molly' was liquid/concentrated form, while 'e' is the pill form. I may have drawn that conclusion though somehow. Took it once at a rave (from a reputable source and brought it with, not from random dealer at the rave or in the parking lot or anything), before I even suspected I was Aspie... |

I'm definitely not gay, and I have his same issues. My ex-wife used to try and accuse me of being gay, it's very hurtful when you absolutely know you aren't. It's psychological and performance anxiety based, and treating him like he's broken is only making it worse, I know this from experience, and ... |

I have Photoshop 1.0.7 for MacOS 6 on a floppy somewhere. Basically, MS Paint is more powerful!
I also had a 8" floppy disc, exactly like the 5.25" ones just supersized. I think they held something huge like 800KB? lololol! |

The thing about this is that I am not pretending to be NT or making an effort to emulate NT behavior. That certainly wasn't any intended implication of what I wrote, so if you have interpreted it in that way, I would politely suggest that you put such ideas to the back of your mind and read it agai... |

If he has any sort of anxiety issues, the simple pressure to perform will keep it shut off. Mine basically doesn't work unless I'm alone, or with someone I don't have feelings for (it's non-consequential so no anxiety = huge stiffy and no problems). It seems counterintuitive but it's the honest trut... |

I prefer a high-CBD strain of cannabis, shuts me right off. Similar to what has been used to treat seizure disorders. Unfortunately it's illegal basically everywhere, but I'm moving to Colorado in a few months so, yaaaay. I won't even have to get diagnosed/prescribed to legally ingest it, and I can ... |

Agree with CharityFunDay, and from my own experiences, if I am mentally powered-up I can keep most of the aspie traits harnessed. If I'm tired I'll melt down with no control over it. I think of it like riding a bike (left-field analogy)... NT people are able to just balance and ride along, while tho... |

Police work also requires acuity in reading body language, detecting lies, etc. It is obvious that they train this (in the USA anyway) because every time I get pulled over for speeding or whatever minor infraction, I start with hand tremors and anxiety and can't control it very well, so I appear "ag... |
