I began speaking at the average age, I believe. I enjoy studying all languages, including my native tongue. Learning languages has always come easily to me, I think this is due to my mimicry skills (I have a lot of practice studying others to know how to behave appropriately, language is just one mo...

I have a pretty high pain threshold as well. Along with that, I also do not bruise our bleed easily (blood draws take a ridiculous amount of time with me because I seem to flow slowly), so when I am hurt, there is usually no physical evidence to support me...

I am not much of a smiler, don't really show emotion most of the time, but I have a tendency to smile at inappropriate times, ie someone is telling me something sad. I am not smiling becauseI find the situation funny by any means, I don't really know what is behind the smile. I have to put a LOT of ...

Its a toss up between Die Hard and Lethal Weapon.

Die Hard hadn't occurred to me as an option, but it was recently pointed out to me that it is a minor tradition in my house to watch it after having decorated the tree. So, it belongs on my list as well. :) yippe ki yay!

Well yes it was sad. I cried, but I cried for Wilson, not Amber. Wilson didn't deserve that.

You're right, Wilson is what made the scene sad for me as well.

I'd have to say Lawrence Kutner from House. I really liked Kutner. And even though I knew it was coming, that episode was still so sad. What was your saddest TV death? Kutner's death was sad, but Amber's (cut throat b***h's) death was incredibly poignant (even though I didn't care for her). The las...

Just left my first visit, seemed very basic. He asked why I was there (depression), then just went into patient history questions (lot of these). Then for some reason he felt the need to go into a spiel of the anthropological and genetic roots of depression (didn't particularly care, but whatever :r...

I don't have a problem HEARING a person talking to me, but I often have difficulty taking in what is being said...I hear them speaking, but can't make out the words. I'm guessing it is an attention issue or an auditory processing issue, I'm not sure.

Bright light gives me an almost instantaneous headache, though the headaches generally subside as soon as I leave the light. When watching tv, I have to have other lights sources on to even out the brightness, just the tv on is too much. Fortunately, I live in the Pacific NW, the sun doesn't show it...

Closed. I don't want to give my family added reason to be concerned about me, they worry enough. I am not embarrassed by it at all, I just don't want it to be a factor in the way people treat me (specifically, I don't want them to teat me kinder or special, I couldn't care less if they were meaner t...
