Growing up, I never adjusted to group activities or sports, and it's mainly because I didn't want anyone to have to depend on me (and I hated the interaction). My brother and I had a lot of energy, but we never got the concept "you need to meet with your soccar team on tuesdays at 10am at this park.... |

I usually don't bring it up, although my family knows (and that's okay). I just don't talk about it a lot because it means telling everyone the same story over and over, and I get the pity thing from the misinformed ones. Oooh, I told a coworker once when she asked me. I honestly answered that I hav... |

I just turned 25, but I look like I'm 16 (minus the baby fat I had back then). High school boys still bug me when I'm out and about. I tell myself that I can't be the only one who wears makeup to make themself look older. |

I personally don't care if people use those terms, since shortening a work doesn't sound demeaning to me. It does however annoy me when someone who doesn't have the condition raises a stink about it. Them: "You're trying to turn it cute and trendy." My attitude about it: "Shut up." |

I have a good friend who is a proud owner of utili kilts (he matches them with a leather jacket and scuffed combat boots). He maybe wears jeans a month out of the year. He also likes to screw with us. He has climbed a tree and yelled, "Hey, look up here!" He has done a hand stand outside a bar. He h... |

Anime conventions are good fun! I've only been to the small one in Iowa, but I'd like to make it to acen sometime.
I, too, noticed that most of the attendants are women (I'm 23). I really don't know why, either :) I usually see them in groups instead of alone, like some of the guys who go. |

I really lean more towards electronic (EBM, industrial, agrotech...). I also enjoy some classical (I can't really do Mozart, though). Music that has a steady beat, a tune that stands out, or amazing vocals are what are mostly on my mp3 player :) Bands I love: Combichrist Covenant Curve Decoded Feedb... |

That, and those plastic poufs harbor bacteria :/
I just use a gentle antibacterial bristled brush to scrub my face with, and it really helps!
For a moisturizer, I would try something oil-free. DDF has a good oil-free dew. It doesn't feel greasy and absorbs really fast. |

I can only remember one time I mentally shut down from a sensory overload. Things that usually bug me are related to sounds that make me uncomfortable, or sounds that trigger anger/sadness. Normally, such sounds make me cry. When I was in high school, the fan in my bathroom suddenly broke and made l... |

I can do really basic small talk, since I have to at work. And I'll generally add things in to manipulate it into a topic that I'm familliar with. Catching up with friends is something that I'm uncomfortable and awkward with. I have lost quite a few friends because of this (seeing classmates from hi... |

I've been working on my eye contact, too (I was really bad about it growing up) ! I've been training myself. The best time is at work, so I can try it on various people. |

Some people are allergic to salycilic acid (god I can't spell it!), which is an active ingredient in many oily/acne cleansers. It makes some people break out even more, especially if you have reeeally sensitive skin. I heard though, that willow bark extract is a good natual astringent (the skincare... |

I used to be scared to death of phones, especially at work.
Nowadays I'm a bit better, and I even have a few people I can talk to for hours.
Still prefer texting, though. |

I speak to those close to me in cat language. With my mum and some friends it's mostly limited to greetings but with my boyfriend it's a whole language. We meow to be affectionate, to ask for something, to say thank you, to express sadness. We hiss too :P That's what I do, too! lol. This week, thou... |

I enjoy driving, but I wish I was better at it. I have to think about what direction North is-- I have a bad, bad sense of direction (I got lost in a parking lot just yesterday). Once I'm on the right track, though, I'm fine. I think about serious things in the car. However, one of my favorite thing... |
