Its mostly come up with friends, who I don't feel like hiding myself from . Sometimes I don't have an interaction template to work from, and I get the interaction wrong or I simply can't figure it out at all. I wanted them to know why 1. I acted in the way they thought was thouhgtless, rude, wierd, ...

I know exactly what you mean. When I was a kid I just thought it was cause I had to go to my Dads for the summer and thus had the perpetual New Kid syndrom, but as I grew up it was still there. Like everyone was issued a manual on how meet and talk to people, somehow my copy got lost in the mail.

I have had friends and co-workers flat out tell me to my face that either I was lying or my Dr. was so horribly inept as to have no idea what Aspergers was. Wow, I found this just doing a random google search on Aspergers and Mirrors and found so many posts with such similiar reactions to mine that I wound up joining the community.
