You need to think about a job somewhere else. The situation is usually that people that are no call/no show usually are not eligible for rehire unless there is a medical reason. HR people will probably have to play by the rules. There are probably strict policies about this (at least at every place...

I just literally hopped onto a bus years ago in the middle of the night and took off ... Why?
