Yeah, loved the stuff, but my body will not put up with it any more. Eat something hot, get no sleep. Bummer.

Necessary. The Japanese military was more than willing to fight until every one of them was dead.

And there were no other bombs. We only had two and it would have taken months to make more.

Waiting for the peer review.

I'm a fan of Modified Newtonian with granular space/time. Makes the singularities go away.

I got chicken pox before a vaccine was available. I still have scars on my face 50 years later. Deaths are fairly rare, but keep the infected kids away from pregnant women.

I decided at 8 years of age not to have children. 50 years later, I don't and have no regrets. Being male and with the advent of women's liberation, there hasn't been all that much social pressure.

Do Internet friends count? You've never met them, probably never will, you can't see them, no one else can and they don't go places or do stuff with you.

Servers aren't all that expensive to lease. My company is paying less than $100 USD per month for a two dual-core 2.5 GHz system with 4 GB of ram. More likely, there is a problem with the storage. With all the huge hard disks out there, it is tempting to use one big disk; but that makes for slow dat...

When I was young, I always felt like I was 35 when born. Seemed like other people were taking forever to grow up. At 57, 35 is okay.

I spend most of my time at home and don't consider myself a homebody. As defined, a homebody is one whose interests center on the home. I know people who lives revolve around their house: cleaning, decorating, rearranging furniture, gardening, perfect lawns, etc. I just live here with the greys and ...

I think they are at Starbucks with their mothers, complaining about the lack of available men. According to PEW research, church is one of the least likely places to meet a future partner. It ranked slightly above random encounters on the street and below school, work, friends, bars, parties, and sh...
