I had maybe three friends in high school, but college was life changing. I met all of my life long best friends there and it taught me so much about myself and the world. Before college I was on the immature shallow side, but college taught me to grow up and function independently and open my eyes t...

I would contact your state department of human services because they can help you if you are on the spectrum and are unable to support yourself. I know my state offers job training and things like that. So I would contact your states human services as step one and go from there.

I used to have a low number of friends until I really learned how to put myself out there and find things we were on the same level with such as music and I would ask if they wanted to meet up sometime to share music collections. Pretty soon it became a regular thing and we grew to be friends on a m...

OP I've met people like the one you described and I tend to avoid them like I felt sorry for them for awhile, but refusing to change their behavior and being a constant disruption to everyone around them was enough for me. One girl in particular she wasn't an aspie but was constantly drinking and af...

I used to be on the lazy side with hygiene due to ADD and other issues, but I realized I'm too old to skimp on the hygiene and to neglect it and now that I'm...

I recall you posted a similar thread awhile back and everyone urged you to see a psychiatrist because it honestly sounds like you are hallucinating and having delusional thoughts. I really hope you will see a doctor because what you are saying does not sound plausible. In your other thread you said ...

I also think you need to find some kind of mental health professional because what you are describing about your state of mind doesn't sound healthy. I hope you can find a peace of mind and that these intrusive thoughts will end.

I was in a similar situation and him having to bum rides off his mom, grandma, and friends to go out on dates or hangout was very repetitive and old. I was in the process of getting my license, but I had a feeling I would be doing most of the driving and it was irritating. Like he was a nice guy, bu...

What is your living and working situation currently? You and her need to discuss your options fully together and come to a conclusion on if you want to parent, stay in school, etc.

I agree you guys need your own space and just because she hates to be alone doesn't mean that you are obligated to share living space with her. She is a grown women and I wonder how she managed when her children were out of the time. I would tell your fiance something has to give and it's time he pu...

It sounds like he is unhappy with being friends since he keeps being flaky and blowing you off time after time. I had a similar situation involving a girl and after awhile of making plans and her flaking out on them for something or someone else I let that friendship go because I wanted to be friend...
