disorder does mean out of the norm. its just that they actually have a name for it, that's why it's strange.

i get that sometimes too, random things just replay in my head, sometimes just one word that came outta nowhere. The only way I found to stop it is to write it down on paper. Useful when something's made me sad. |

Not sensitive per se, but I do have A utosomal dominant C ompelling H elio- O phthalmic O utburst syndrome. Other than that, I'm pretty tolerant. And thank you Ariel you gave me a great word for my essay that I hadn't considered using. You inherited a tendency to sneeze when the sun is in your eyes... |

Not sensitive per se, but I do have Autosomal dominant Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst syndrome.
Other than that, I'm pretty tolerant.

I'm extremely sensitive to spicy food. My mouth can't stand it. I have to avoid capsaicin like the plague. I could never figure out why before. ok that settles the kids problem, but what about us coping? The way I see it, an NT is a liason to the world. If my dad and I didn't have my mom, we'd be in shambles. And what about NTs handling the totally different thougt process of an Aspie? I wouldnt want someone to suffer for me like my mom doe... |

At any rate, AS runs in my family, gone straight down the line from my paternal grandmother to my dad to me. I just need someone to tell me how their AS/AS or AS/NT relationship is or was. |
