I've been addicted to a smoke-less form of tobacco for a few years. Now, I have to quit. 1.) Because I don't have the money, 2.) Because it stains my teeth. I don't have aspergers, but I tested 136 on the aspie quiz. So logically I abstain from social interaction when I have withdrawals. I have big ... |

I know how you feel, but make a simple beat in a demo-version of FL Studio or something and just play along. If you like metronomes, that can work too. But I find myself getting distracted by them. |

Mainly I'd love to have a higher singing voice. :? Mine doesn't fit too well for most male parts and I can't hit the higher notes of female parts, so I'm always having to bugger about with songs to make them sing-able. That aside, I've always wanted to play the guitar and I've tried several times t... |

I know people with autism don't have good social skills and probably aren't the best at answering this. But still.. Maybe there are some psychologist nerds here. And that's what I need! Well.. The title says it. We are stuck in the same campus too. And I don't think any of them are going to move bef... |

Melatonin . doesn't get me high, but puts me to sleep. I relate too well with what you're saying. From the wiki on melatonin: Individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) may have lower than normal levels of melatonin. A 2008 study found that unaffected parents of individuals with ASD also have... |

Your title is bad. Make it explain more and remove the typo.
Well.. I have empathy. And I actually do too much to avoid people getting hurt, because I really don't know what will set them off.
Besides that I see myself as having all the traits to some degree. |

I like your way of presenting both cons and pros! I am no doctor, but I think you have AS. It's apparent that you have its symptoms to some degree. Read about ways to cope with its symptoms. I was also surprised to find that I'm an extreme organizer. Is it common with AS not to be aware of this? I k... |

Buy books on the subject and teach her how to make friends by role playing. Be REALLY patient and reward her when she's doing things right. When she does something wrong, explain why. I never had a major problems making friends.* What I believe she feels, is the strong desire and need to have somebo... |

You're scared of a lot of things! It could be related to stress. Mental disorders usually becomes worse when you're under stress. No offence, but it sounds a bit like you're trying to make yourself fit the autism term rather than to see if the autism term fits you. Were you born with "people skills"... |

I'd be able to make a living from my music, do something great for the world and be the neighbor of a giant library that I could go to (right through my back door) when my computer doesn't cut it. I would also like to have a wonderful girlfriend, who would have to be a lot like me and stunningly bea... |

Nope. My dad dropped out. He has a position at a theatre. My mom is a music journalist and photographer. I'm good with maths, but I dislike the school system. Besides, advanced math is useless to me and if I'll ever need it I'll google it. Just as Jack Black I need rock science, not rocket science! |

Facebook is pretty much like TV. Empty gossip and pictures.
Pictures can be nice. But really...... I just don't give a damn. I can spend my time making beautiful music or read something that actually interests me. Why bother?

Are you self-diagnosed? If so, I think it'd be better to discuss the matter with your knowledgable mother. See what she thinks. Eventually get diagnosed. Many people mis-self-diagnosed. I'm not saying you are, but it might be the case. If you are diagnosed, go tell her... "Hi mom, I got diagnosed wi... |

I answered no. I don't know why people would want to become visually female, yet not reproductive. The stigma, the sexual issues, etc. makes it hard for me to understand. When I was a kid however, I liked to dress up in female dresses and felt female. Yes, I wanted to "try" being female, but sexuall... |
