In what might be the latest response to a bunch of responses of all time, I appreciate what's been said in response to my half-baked pseudoscience. Lots of lovely discussion about lovely things. Retracting the "theory". It's not as good as I thought it was, and I thank you all for pointing that out.

Take a break or take it more slow, you seem to overloaded by events. You said you did the degree because of your mother, but what do you want for yourself? Same for the music school, why is your mother's will so important? If you can't leave, focus on your joy in standup-comedy and look for more th...

Stating my opinions without making them more palatable first. Misjudging how someone will react to something I say and inadvertently offending them. Not expressing feelings the way you're meant to. Like if someone dies, I don't grieve outwardly, and some people perceive this as apathy. When I used t...

You know, being born with a penis doesn't give you a better life automatically. We gentlemen have our own set of problems to deal with, which are just as trying as the more feminine ones. For example... 1. Constant competition. All men are competing with other men all the time for dominance. The st...

I'm fortunate enough to have almost all of my friends as fairly well-adjusted NT individuals. Over time, I've learned what behaviours alienate people (and thus avoid them) and what works. The best thing that ever happened to me socially was discovering that I'm actually quite funny (probably doesn't...

At the ripe old age of seventeen, only three of my close friends from high school have lost their virginity. Doesn't affect our friendship apart from the standard teasing that goes on with guys. But one of them's a vegetarian who, so I've got that over him.

A friend of mine - well, not so much a friend as the girlfriend of a friend - has AS, and copped a fair bit of abuse on Formspring for it. Someone was basically telling her off for saying she did have it. She doesn't know that we share AS, but I was pretty offended. I suspected that she might have i...

I often feel the same way. I'm lucky enough to have some close friends who don't do that - if any of us go to an event in a certain social circle, we invite the others. But for a long time, that wasn't the case.

And it was awful.

So I only ever come onto this forum when I'm feeling a little blue. I'm sure many of you know the drill: late at night, you're lonely and illuminated only by the barely-comforting glow of a computer screen. Right now s**t's not looking too good for me. I'm at university doing a four-year degree that...

I've not passed out, but I have blacked out. My longest blackout (that I know of, because there could be others... thus is the nature of the blackout) is a period of about two to four hours from my Schoolies trip. I remember being on a beach burying a guy in sand and singing Steel Panther lyrics at ...

Sorry if it's been mentioned, I've only skimmed this thread so far, but Axl Rose has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, although I would not be at all surprised if he had Aspergers. The way he obsessed over Chinese Democracy, the way the original GN'R lineup fell apart, his reclusiveness all are ...

My suggestion would be to have a conversation when the theatre is not busy. I'm aware that conversing can be difficult, from personal experience, but see if you can strike up a conversation. Maybe about a film that's currently playing? Then, before she has a chance to get bored of your conversation,...

Yeah, I'm like this. I just don't care enough about things that other people do, so I take the piss. And I take the piss so often that people assume that I'm being sarcastic, even when I'm serious.
