Yeah... I do think of myself as the norm, and them as stupid. I thought I'd accepted the fact that I'm smarter until I began responding to your question (my response included "most people are so stupid"), then I realized I'm still where I've been for a while, somehow. Which is weird. It's like, I k... |

The law won't give a f**k if the parents are ok with it. anyone can and probably will lodge a complaint, police will investigate, it won't be subtle, and it will be as fair and balanced as FOX news. These are all practical reasons not to get involved with a minor. You may disagree with the moral and... |

Sure, parallels can be drawn. However, many of the jokes in the book he was given rely on non-literal meanings further away from the mainstream (in fact, many rely on American slang) that may not come naturally to a child with AS - he or she would have to understand "broke" not in the context of "f... |

As long as you are certain your AS characteristics are related to your problems with the class. But in the end, if your work is 'messy' to them, they have a point. Technical Design is all about precision and being clear. Compare your work to other students' work. Whether you understand your work is ... |

I used to hate being touched. Would sit well away from other kids, and make myself really thin, especially when a girl sat next to me, desperately trying to avoid being touched. I still avoid strangers, but have accepted hugging in social settings. And when being intimate with a girl, I love her lay... |

I don't know the Beetles The Beatles are great however. I don't care much for their earlier work. But their more psychedelic/symphonic stuff, love it. If you think they invented bland pop music, you haven't heard many of their songs. |

I love being consistently guessed being 5-8y younger than I am.
I figure I've got to use this to my advantage while it lasts. |

Thanks, Spokane Girl! Your jokes were just the type of response that I was looking for. Butterfly... on TV.. I'm sure he'll love those. :D But those aren't so remotely different from your broke/broken dog one. Or geeky humour: http://fora.tv/2009/11/08/Science_Laughs_Science_Comedian_Brian_Malow Th... |

Kalikimaka, was indeed charging the reaction.
It doesn't really matter if you're a charity case or more interesting if the result is more time spent together learning about yourself.
btw great album, your avatar. |

Viruses emerge for reasons and people get it for other reasons. If you want to let vaccines do the work you'll only be weakening your immune system. We don't see horses or pigs dieing because of pandemics, and if there was a pandemic it would be a natural thing, to regulate the numbers and/or to er... |

This topic is very recognizable. The comment about being smart - yes I'm probably smarter than you, I can't help that. (I don't say this, just think it sometimes, cause boy, sometimes they're stupid...) The habit they have of confusing knowledge or being smart with arrogance - I'm sorry I know somet... |

While the theoretical debate on the age of consent is interesting, I'd urge the OP to think long and hard before acting on any romantic feelings towards <18's, particularly in the Anglo-American countries, where perception plays a big part, and you don't even have to act on sexual desires for you to... |
