Who exactly acts their age? From what I can tell, people never change (unless it's due to a really traumatizing event). Everything that "adults" do is really just a facade to cover up the grade school playground mentality. The two most popular games on the playground are "Hey, look at me!" and "I'm ...

I hate tipping. I generally tip 15-20%, but I really go out of my way to avoid restaurants that require tipping. If I order Chinese or pizza, I'll pick it up myself. It's not that I have anything against the workers, I just think the whole tipping system is idiotic. The owners should pay their worke...

I'm certainly not going to miss cheap bar soap, because I'm quite allergic to it. I do see your point though. Liquid soap is just diluted bar soap that costs more, plus you go through it a lot faster. It's the same thing with a lot of other detergents though. People like using liquids because it see...

Why is it that Americans make such a big fuss about helping Haiti when at the same time they're causing so much death and destruction in the Middle East? Why is it not okay to discriminate against Blacks, but it's no big deal when it comes to Muslims? That said, let's help clean up the mess in Haiti...

I really hate rap, r&b, "hip hop" or whatever they've changed the name to these days. I don't like a lot of music, but rap is by far the worst. Country would be a close second, followed by jazz and blues. I'm not a big fan of popular music at all, though sometimes I hate songs just because of th...

I doubt that people will give you a hard time about your name at university level, but if you have an unusual sounding name that draws attention and that bothers you, I suggest you change your surname. In my opinion, the corporate environment is similar to the crap in high school and people will jud...

Be glad there are no white castles in Canada. They're the nastiest "burgers" I've ever had. In fact, I don't know if I've ever been able to finish an entire one. My friends are crazy about them, and I've tried them at least 5 times. I just take one bite and spit it out. I think it's the soggy textur...

Hmm...some of this sounds pretty disgusting, but I'm not innocent myself. I have a really bad habit of biting my nails, and edge of the skin around the nails. I don't eat my nails anymore, but the cuticles are delicious. When I was younger I used bite my toenails too, but they started to become funk...

I have quite a few allergies, but most of them are not related to food. I am somewhat allergic to nuts (especially walnuts), and I don't handle dairy products very well. I am also quite allergic to florida oranges and grapefruits (which is a hybrid of florida orange and pomello), but strangely not t...

If you can grab it within 5 seconds of it falling off your tray, it's still good.

I've always slept in either underwear or nude, but these last few years I've started sleeping in shirts and sometimes pajama pants (but never socks). Because I sleep on my side, and wearing some clothing keeps my arms from falling asleep. I can't sleep nude anymore, it just doesn't feel comfortable.

I strongly recommend "Aveeno Advanced Care" skin cream. It's designed for people with eczema and very sensitive skin. I find it doesn't leave a slimy film like the one you describe. You can get it at Target or Walmart, but they usually hide it with the poison ivy treatment rather than with the other...

I hate team sports with a passion. I don't mind individual sports so much, but I just can't be bothered with those either. When I see a game like football, soccer or hockey, I'm reminded of a bunch of dumb animals chasing after their prey. From what I understand, most team sports basically simulate ...

When I was 15 everyone thought I was 20. I am now 27, but people still think I'm 20. I'm often asked what I'm studying in school. At my last job, the boss commented that I resembled "a large boy". It's a pretty accurate description I suppose. I think it's not just skin, but also my postures and faci...

I really liked ST:TMP, ST:II, ST:V and ST:VI. It's hard for me to decide which one I like best because I enjoy them all in different ways, but if I had to choose I would say that Wrath of Khan is the best thing the Star Trek franchise ever has, or ever will put out. III and IV are almost unbearable ...
